The establishment of being the main cause of going is clear, even so, it is necessary to establish pervasion of atoms only by other reasoning. If so, will there be faults in this? Answer: "The side of things" and so on are mentioned. "The side of things" is made by humans. Its opposite is the side of non-things, because it is the nature of dwelling by mutually abandoning, and if one is negated, the establishment of the other will not arise. It is thought that non-things are self-established. Similarly, in order to establish the nature of arising and ceasing of the prior and posterior limits of the Vedas. Merely refuting what is established by Buddhists is that the Vedas are not made by humans, and establishing emptiness from the two extremes, because the desire is established, so speaking of the Vedas is complete. However, even if one thinks about its establishment, is it not necessary to establish the nature of the permanence of the Vedas by other efforts? Therefore, if the permanence of the Vedas is not established, how will it become the meaning of having spoken of the Vedas? Answer: "The nature of things" and so on are mentioned. Said. The first two aspects are to establish the prior and posterior limits. In order to refute the first two aspects in any way, it shows that permanence itself will be established, that is, "by the Vedas" and so on are said. Because permanence is the nature of dwelling by mutually abandoning the two extremes of before and after. And it has been said that the nature of dwelling by mutually abandoning, if one is negated, the existence of the other will not arise. If that non-existence is permanence, then will permanence not become the dharma of things? Answer: "Because the Vedas are first." This shows that the real dharma of this dharma belongs to the nature of the Vedas. Thus, because it becomes a thing, will it become necessary to establish impermanence? In order to consider the opportunity of other people's words, "That which is to be known" and so on are said. What is to be known is to be known by valid cognition, which is a synonym for what is to be established. That

That which is called "pure" refers to the two, the uncreated and the indestructible. To establish by one's own nature is one's own establishment, because non-things are not contradictory to things themselves. Even if it is the nature of the uncreated and the indestructible, one should not think that permanence is not a non-thing. Thus, for the time being, by the reversal of the five kinds of valid cognition (pramana), it is established that there is no author of the Vedas, therefore, the reason that "the cause of the reversal itself is with fault and without fault" is not unestablished, nor is it contradictory, because it exists in the similar side. Because it does not exist in the dissimilar side, it is also not uncertain, therefore the Vedas are established as valid cognition. Now, I will begin to extensively refute the two ways in which others establish that the Vedas are not valid cognition. The two ways of establishing this are: whatever is the object of the senses and has just arisen is impermanent, like a pot. Sound is also the same, which is the reason of nature. In general, once sound is established as impermanent, then naturally the Vedas are also established as impermanent, and like the words of a man on a great road, it will become established as reversed, which is the thought of other Buddhists and so on. Here, it is to extensively show the harm to the vows of valid cognition such as sound, and to this, first of all, the harm caused by the valid cognition of sound is that which mentions "whatever is the Veda" and so on, that which arises from the Veda is Vedic, and from the fire sacrifice it will become ascension to heaven and so on. By its power, it can refute the opponent, because it causes harm. Just as whether it is the instigator of this or not, it does not produce a doubtful knowledge, nor is it a reversal of saying that this is a reversal, because in other times, other people, other places, and other circumstances, it will also become a knowledge without harm. Whatever knowledge sees another knowledge as reversed, and then also reverses it here, the knowledge arising from inference will also be prevented because this direct perception causes harm. However, how do those of equal strength harm each other?
