Because it is said that the condition arising from intention, and that which is the same as the owner, is immediately following, and the characteristic of the cause is the four conditions, so if the commitment also becomes a fault, it is not permissible, and in order to show that it is not contradictory, in the world and in the scriptures, in whatever way the condition of the object is manifestly desired, in that way it is shown in the conventional, but not in the ultimate. In the ultimate, all knowledge is without an object. The twenty-eighth chapter, the examination of external objects, from the condensed commentary on that very nature, is finished. Furthermore, in order to accomplish the meaning of "Do not be attached to self-authority hearing," others and so on are mentioned. The others refer to the Vaiśeṣikas and so on. Those people say that encouragement itself is the reason for establishing dharma and non-dharma, etc., like the appearance of all sentient beings, it is established as a common eye. Those who cannot eat, those who are men with the meaning of seeking dharma and non-dharma, should rely on it as a measure. Other words made by men, etc., are not. Thus, the words of sentient beings who have desire and ignorance are not able to understand the meaning of what is beyond the senses and not inverted. Therefore, this word is not able to understand dharma and so on, nor is it able to be understood by the direct perception of seeing this shore, because it is extremely hidden beyond the senses. Thus, the characteristics of dharma and non-dharma are capable of accomplishing what is desired and undesired. As it is said in the explanation made by the recluse, whatever is well done, that is what is spoken of by the word dharma. How is it known? Whoever is the person who takes offerings and gifts, it is said that he is a practitioner of dharma. Whoever is the maker of something, he speaks of it by that, just as the weaver who has a fence speaks. Therefore, whatever is well accomplished for a person, that is what is spoken of by the word dharma. Therefore, this shows that the material and so on that can accomplish the desired meaning is dharma.

Transforms! Thus, with the term "offering and generosity," it speaks of the distinctions by which substance, merit, and action can be perfectly accomplished. Therein, it shows the usage of the word "dharma." If it is said that substances and so forth are manifest by their own nature, but not merely by perfect accomplishment itself, but by their nature they are considered as dharmata, not merely by their own nature. As it is said: Goodness is pleasing to beings, it is accomplished by the characteristics of urging from substance, action, and merit, therefore they have dharmata. If these have sense objects, then by its nature it is not dharma, these that accomplish well, are always understood to transform by awareness, its nature is dharma, therefore it is not the object of the senses. As it is said. Its very nature means by the nature of accomplishing well. Therefore, it is established that suitability itself is dharma. Reversing from dharma, by implication, it should also be clearly understood that it is possible to establish the meaning of not wanting to be non-dharma. Suitability itself is also not able to be realized by direct perception, because it is always to be inferred by the result. The power of things is, established by the understanding of the meaning of the result. As it is said. If it is not so, direct perception itself will be lost. The direct perception of a yogi also does not take as its object that which is beyond the senses, because it is direct perception, like other direct perceptions. It is also not reasonable to understand dharma and non-dharma by inference, because merely by the establishment of the connection, it can be completely rejected by that thing, and dharma is not like that. For understanding dharma, similar measurement is also not possible, because such similar measurement will generate wisdom similar to an eon, like remembering a cow when seeing a gadfly. From where, from the similarity, one understands it, it is impossible to understand something similar to dharma. Understanding dharma and non-dharma, understanding by meaning is also not possible, because the meaning of seeing and hearing cannot become other, so understanding other meanings is understanding by meaning.
