If one says, how can one know that oneself and others are being deceived? If its own nature is not established, then what else can be established by experiencing its meaning? Nothing can be established. Furthermore, if one thinks that another consciousness can establish it, then one has said, "One has not experienced it oneself," etc. What is established is consciousness, which is not established. What is not established as clarity should not be considered as clarity. In this way, for the time being, it is not established when one experiences the meaning oneself, because at that time, the nature of experiencing clarity is not established. It must be stated when it will be established. If one says that it will be established when the consciousness of its consciousness arises, that is, when the consciousness of one's own consciousness arises, then that is well said. If it is not established when one experiences it oneself, then how can it be established when another experiences it? If it is not established without being exhaustive, then it is shown to be difficult to refute. Therefore, it is said, "Its experience is not established," etc. "Its" refers to the second consciousness that understands the meaning. "The first" refers to experiencing the meaning. "Not established" refers to not being established because it is not established, and its object is not established. Furthermore, if one admits that another consciousness experiences it, then that other consciousness will also have the thought, "I have generated the consciousness of consciousness," and this should also be said to be experienced by another, because it is not reasonable for experience to generate thoughts. If that is the case, then who will create these useless chains of consciousness? It must be said. For the time being, meaning is not, because it is the object of the fundamental consciousness. The senses and appearances are also not, because they are closely connected to the sense consciousness itself. It is also not without cause, because it would lead to the fault of being permanent, etc. If one says that the previous wisdom generates the subsequent wisdom, then it is like transferring to another object. It is said, "Like this, transferring to another object," etc. If that were the case, it would not transfer to another object. Like this, the previous wisdom, the previous consciousness, the subsequent consciousness, the subsequent

How can one grasp a non-proximate meaning by abandoning such a proximate expression that is established as proximate precisely because it is the cause of taking proximity as its own nature? Even if the meaning is proximate, it cannot hinder it, because it is non-proximate. If, even when non-proximate, it were to hinder, then no one would ever experience mental decline. Since there is never a time when a non-proximate meaning exists, the memory of saying that the meaning is non-proximate would also be destroyed, because it has not been experienced. Furthermore, those objects of discrimination, such as the past, that arise without proximity, since there is no cause for transference, will remain in the continuum of discrimination as long as samsara exists, and therefore no one will understand the meaning. Even if it is conceded that transference to another meaning is unreasonable, even so, it must be said who will experience what is the knowledge of the limit? Moreover, if it is thought that this later mind is the earlier mind that grasps another meaning and the mind that grasps both meanings, then, like this, when the consciousness that grasps form arises after the consciousness of sound, since the consciousness of sound appears in the consciousness that grasps form, the sound that appears in it will also appear. According to which view, consciousness has no form, according to that view, even without grasping sound, it should not be grasped to grasp it, just as without grasping a staff, one should not grasp it to grasp the staff, therefore, in the consciousness that grasps form, sound will also appear. Similarly, in the consciousness of thought, also according to the manner described above, two expressions with objects such as the letter A will become non-sequential on one. Like this, when one thinks of the letter I, immediately after thinking of the letter A, since the consciousness that thinks of its letter A also thinks of grasping I, therefore the expression of the letter I that appears in one's own consciousness will also appear in the consciousness of the expression of the letter A. Furthermore, all things will appear twice, because they appear at the time of one's own consciousness and at the time of knowing with one's own wisdom. That way
