There is also no faith whatsoever. Because the thing itself is not another thing, it is said to be without thing. Therefore, the wise one said that these are different. Keeping all those in mind, he spoke of the difference of things. Which thing itself is different from things? That is not other at all. If you ask why, that is not its own nature, but a term called different characteristics. In general, that is also the same as non-existent things such as rabbit horns. Just like this, things like rabbit horns are characterized by the absence of any function. In general, because it is not desired in this way, it is more obvious that this is different from that. Therefore, even if it enters a state that is more different than non-existence, it will not become the thing itself that does not exist, so this is not general. Also, the so-called non-existence is not other, etc., for that, he did not distinguish the meaning of what he said himself. Just like this, when saying that the thing itself is not another thing, that is showing that it is different from other things, because that is the opposite statement. This is like a manifestation of ignorance, it is too much, so let's stop here. Therefore, etc., is summarizing the result of valid cognition. The first existing seer. Etc., by showing the way of not accepting a young girl, for the combination of reasoning that there is no reason to establish someone as the nature of someone, etc., it is welcoming the doubt that has not been established in one aspect of the subject. Just like this, taking all direct perceptions as the subject, for that, establishing all phenomena called direct perception as having distinctions, the reason is that there is no holding of the meaning of difference and the differentiated, this reasoning is not established. Because other direct perceptions other than seeing have the meaning of holding the difference and the differentiated of the general, etc. If the knowledge of seeing itself is taken as the subject and then the reasoning is stated, then others will think that at that time it is establishing on the basis of what has already been established. Children and mutes, etc., have similar wisdom. It is said that the knowledge of children

Similar to the consciousness of the demented and the deaf, and so on. The term "etc." includes fainting and so on. Similarity is merely the absence of distinct expressive differences. Pure objects are also devoid of the two universals. This is clarified by the following two verses, which state, "not having characteristics," characteristics being the momentary universals such as the cow itself. "Universal" refers to the great universal, such as the object itself. These are referred to as "being the basis," which indicates the pure object. After that, and so on, is to clarify that one aspect of the reasoning is not established. "After that" refers to the period after grasping the pure object. By what intellect are the characteristics of objects, such as class, determined? This is also considered to be direct perception. And "class, etc." indicates grasping the meaning of characteristics and that which possesses characteristics, which shows that the one who understands the uncomprehended meaning itself, and the reasoning itself is also not established. Or, it refers to the third moment, and so on. "The follower associated with it" refers to the follower following in relation to that sense faculty. How many, the understanding of the uncomprehended meaning is the remainder. If someone thinks like this, if initially, when accompanied by the function of the sense faculty, all things possessing qualities such as class do not appear, then they will not appear later either, because there is no difference. If one thinks like this, then it is said, "From appearance to the corner of the house." Appearance refers to illumination from light, combined with "the moment of entering." Sense faculty, is it not non-understanding? For this question, one should observe the answer, "However, understanding is unique." Having thus established the analogy, in order to draw near to the meaning of the analogy, it is said, "How, etc." Just as one understands only appearance in the corner of the house, and later understands blue and so on separately, similarly, having previously understood by one's own nature, later one becomes accompanied by direct perception through qualities such as class, therefore there is no fault. However
