If it is established as a real entity that pervades all phenomena, then, if there is no complete holding of the pervasion of the subject of the phenomena, then there is no general pervasion either, and then the object to be pervaded will also not exist, which can be understood by mere words. For example, if there is no tree, then there is no sap of the tree, like that. As it is said: Therefore, in the example of dissimilar phenomena, it is certain that one does not want this to have a basis, if there is none of those, then there is none of that, and from the statement one can also understand that. Just like that which is said. To show briefly that the stated entity is not the reason for acting gradually, because the causes are not close. And so on. The fruit is not existent or non-existent by its own will, however, its existence and non-existence follow the existence and non-existence of the cause. If, in that case, the nature of the constant and unique one exists at all times and places as the nature of the cause that produces all these fruits, then why is it that merely existing, it can accomplish all the fruits, and does not produce all the fruits at once? Because of what will it arise gradually? Going, means staying. Therefore, its fruit that will arise later will also become the first to arise, because the power of the cause is unobstructed, just like the desired fruit that appears, thinking like this is doubt. However, the words 'but also' and so on, are to welcome the doubt of the action of others, although all permanent phenomena are the cause of all fruits, however, its co-emergent conditions are gradually close.

As Napa said, there are four positions on whether it is the nature of either or neither. Among these, the first position is incorrect because, in terms of its own nature, it is always present due to being non-different from it, and it should not be made to exist. If it were made to exist, then it would also become an object, and thus permanence would be lost. However, if it is the second position, then in that case, since the result arises only from the difference, the object would become not the cause itself. "This" refers to the permanent object. What clarifies "this" is "when it exists, the results, etc." "When it exists" means when the difference exists. "It" refers to the difference. "Thus" means because it follows it and ceases with its cessation. However, "however, etc." is to address the doubts of others about this. "It and" refers to the difference and the essence. "For it also" refers to the permanent. "It and connection, etc." is the answer. What connection is there? It means there is none at all. There are only two kinds of connection: its own nature and arising from it. Among these, first, the characteristic of its own nature is incorrect because it has been admitted to be different. The characteristic of arising from it is also incorrect because it arises only from co-operators. If it is admitted that it arises from it, then in that case, since it arises only from it, the differences will arise simultaneously. If that is the case, then all results will arise simultaneously because the cause with differences exists everywhere. If one thinks that the cause that produces the difference also depends on the co-operating cause, so the difference arises gradually, and therefore the results will not arise simultaneously, then it is unreasonable because if that is the case, it will become endless. Like this, since the co-operators produce other differences, the co-operator itself must be explained. If that difference itself is different, then the connection is established. If it arises from it, then it will become simultaneous arising.

Furthermore, the very notion that this depends on co-action is itself a redundancy. If it were so, and there were no contact, then sometimes there would be no distinction and co-action, i.e., no relationship would be established. If that were not established, then no result would arise from it, because the result arises from the distinction itself. If it is said that this is not a relationship of characteristics arising from the distinction and co-action. Then what is it? It is the nature of aggregation, because the distinction aggregates on the permanent dharma. In order to show that this is not reasonable here, it is said, "Furthermore," etc. The so-called "not so" is connected with "for the unhelpful, it causes it to aggregate." If the first case is helpful, then since there is no difference from what is to be helped, it would be necessary to acknowledge the relationship of characteristics arising from it, but that has already been refuted immediately. However, if it is the second case, then since there is no distinction, everything would aggregate together. To show this, it is said, "If that is this," etc. "As it is itself" refers to the fact that, like the object of manifest desire, there is no distinction of not helping. With regard to the aspects of both and not both, it is said, "Different, not different," etc. By merely eliminating each aspect, the aspect of the nature of both is also eliminated, because apart from that, there is no aspect of the nature of both. Furthermore, taking one form and abandoning one form would not occur if it were not from abandoning another form and taking another form. For existent things, the nature of both and not both is unreasonable. On one thing, the two mutually contradictory affirmations and negations are also unreasonable, because this would lead to the loss of identity. This has also already shown the examination of persons, etc., and showing that is persons, etc. If one insists on the second case, saying that doing one thing is its co-action, then as some say, this does not require co-action, and without co-action there is also no agent of the result.
