When destruction occurs due to the very obstruction itself, since another nature said to be hard arises from its own proximate cause and other co-acting causes such as cold, it is not the case that one transforms into another. Therefore, in every way, since the cause of destruction does not act on it in the slightest, the reason is not unestablished. It is also not contradictory, because it exists in the concordant side. It is also not uncertain, because it has already been established before. Someone might think, for example, if space itself is embodied and does not depend on others, then it is not certain. Similarly, if a thing is made, then it will not necessarily be destroyed, if you think so, that is not correct. Because there is no made thing that others do not accept as impermanent, because it has been promised that all things with causes are impermanent. These themselves are taken as the subject here, not others, so how can it be uncertain? Some think that if things are made, then they will become permanent because they do not perish. It should be known that those are actually assembled from unmade aggregates, so there is no fault. It is not established that space and so on do not depend on the qualities of having a body and so on, because for anything that has no qualities, it is entirely dependent. It is not the case that some of the qualities obtained by things are considered to be completely independent. What is it then? Because it is unobtained, the example is not established. Now, from the perspective of the unmade aggregates, space and so on have been mentioned. If space and so on are proven to be things, then at that time, the idea of qualities such as momentariness will arise for them, because qualities are not established independently. If it is not so, then their nature will be lost. Space and so on are also not proven to be unmade qualities, because they are completely devoid of ability, like the son of a barren woman, they are the object of non-existent terms. The syllogism is: whatever is empty of all abilities is a non-existent thing, like the son of a barren woman.

It is like that. Emptiness and so on are also empty of all abilities, which is called the reason of self-nature, or the non-perception of direct pervasion. It is also not an uncertain reason, because the term of non-existence is only the reason for that. It is also not unestablished, which will be shown later. Because it exists in the concordant side, it is also not contradictory. Also, why does the conceptualization of momentary and non-momentary not occur for non-existent things? "The nature that abides in momentariness." Etc. have been said, and it is easy to understand. The elucidator said: It is unreasonable to call it momentary, like this, if it is established in the manner of a definite word, exhaustion is a moment. Because it exists in this, it is momentary, that is unreasonable, because the times are different. At the time of exhaustion, there is no exhausted thing, therefore, for those with different times, the meaning of having is not seen. Also, if the thing itself is immediately distinguished by destruction, it is called a moment, even so, it is not possessed by itself, therefore the meaning of having is unreasonable. Or, the time that exists in a moment is momentary, the last time of everything is a moment. Those that exist on it are momentary, if so, this is also unreasonable, because time is only admitted in name. Mere name is not reasonable as the difference of things. Here it is said: Immediately after birth, it does not stay. "The nature of things that perish immediately after birth is called a moment, and that which exists on it is momentary. It is also said: Obtaining self immediately perishing is a moment. That which exists on it is momentary." However, even so, because self-nature is not other, that exists in this.

It is not following the words, then what is it? It is following the intention of the speaker. Furthermore, in what kind of meaning do speakers understand that many combined words, by the power of the words in that meaning, but in reality, self-nature or conditions do not exist. The word "moment" is also used by the wise only to refer to things that do not stay as soon as they are produced. If you want to call a gur pi thing with the word "moment," then you should also add the word moment with conditions or the word moment without conditions. We show that we are not very respectful of this conventional word that is used only in front of wishes, like "does not stay as soon as it is produced," and so on. Like that, with the word "moment." Because it enters with the meaning of being in harmony with conditions, it is with conditions. Like that, if you admit that space and so on are made, then it shows that this is the realm of uncertain names. Now, if you admit that it exists, then in order to establish the inference that these will become moments, space and so on are said. The meaning of "like what is made" is like what is made. This implies the reason "because it exists." In order to clarify this, "for example" and so on are said. The combination is, whatever exists is momentary, like the momentary things that have just been established. What you think of as things, such as space, also exist, which is the nature cause. Like that, it is established, that is, momentary. This shows that you should not doubt that this is an incomplete example, because it has already been established. The sentence "you want to come" shows that this is establishing the inference. If it is not like that, then any reason will not be established. Also, how is the pervasion of this reason established? It says "when separated from the moment," etc., this has the characteristic of being able to function.
