In short, it is to refute the vow made. If it is said that sentient beings are the nature of the person (Tibetan: སྐྱེས་བུ།), then it becomes a vow that sentient beings are of a permanent and unique nature. Because from the person of permanent and unique nature, it is no different from this (sentient being). This contradicts the present quantity. Because for the nature of self-awareness of consciousness such as color and sound, it has different natures, and it is very clear to realize that the natures are different. If it is said that sentient beings are one, it is unreasonable. In order to explain the contradiction with the promised, it is said that the nature of sentient beings is one, etc. If it is said that I and the nature are one, and also the enjoyer of various things, how can this be contradictory? Because there is no difference from the state of non-enjoyer. If it is said that there is no contradiction with wanting to see, etc., so it is said wanting to see, etc. Those who observe those who want to see and want to hear, etc. for color, etc., as the reason for enjoying mutual differences, will not become this self, and will not arise. If it arises, then at that time, like that, differences arise, then the person becomes having birth, just like wanting to see, etc., because there is no difference from those. In order to clarify this, it is said, "Except for sentient beings." If they are different, then the relationship of "this this" is unreasonable, because the reason for the relationship is that there is no mutual help. This refers to birth and death. Combination means that for something that has no reason to establish something as the nature of something, then having discrimination will not establish it as its nature, just like the void itself. For the person's wanting to see, etc., there is also no reason to establish it as an enjoyer, which is not seeing the cause. This reason is not unestablished, it has been established. In order to explain that because there is no author, this enjoyer is also unreasonable. If it is said that good and non-good karma, so it is said, etc.

There is no enjoyer of the fruits of uncreated actions, because it would lead to the fault of encountering the uncreated, etc. To address the doubts of other responses to this, it is said, "If it is in accordance with desire," etc. Although the individual is not the doer of actions, there is no fault in saying that this enjoys what nature creates in accordance with how it desires to manifest. If nature is not conscious, then how does it accomplish the fruits of actions that manifest desire for the individual? And how does it become the doer of virtuous and other actions? It is said, "They are like the lame and the blind," etc. Just as a blind person engages in activities by associating with a sighted person, similarly, the great and other elements that dissolve, upon encountering a conscious individual, certainly accomplish results such as Dharma, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, and there is no fault. As it is said: For the sake of the individual's seeing, and likewise for the sake of the chief alone, like the lame and the blind, the cycle of existence is made by the connection of the two. If it is so, then objections are raised. If nature also creates fruits by manifesting the desire of uncreated actions, then why is it that when desire is sought at all times, all the meanings of the individual's manifested desire are not accomplished? If it is thought that it is not accomplished because its cause lacks Dharma, then why is it said that nature is, etc.? The fruit of nature is Dharma, and because it is inseparable from it, it is always present and becomes the fruit of manifested desire. Thus, all is only this, that is, nature and the individual. They are also always close, so they always become the fruit. Furthermore, if nature, which manifests desire, gives, then why does it give what is not desired? No one seeks what is not desired. Furthermore, nature for this.
