Nato! If one thinks like this: if the mind is permanent and one, then why does it gradually cognize objects such as form? Why would it cognize everything all at once? Because there is no difference. If one thinks like this, for example, it is said, "With fire as its nature," and so on. For example, although fire is considered to always have the nature of burning, it does not burn at all times. What then? It burns only when it is close, that is, when it approaches. Moreover, it only burns those things that can be burned. Because it is not clouds, etc., it is said to be "burnable." For example, saying "mirror," etc., is giving another example, because a mirror with dirt does not show reflections, so it is said to be "clean." "Placing nearby" means placing it next to it. "Likewise" means approaching the meaning. Although the purusha is pervasive, because it is invisible, when it enters this body, it grasps objects such as form through the senses such as the eye, but otherwise it is not so. Whatever has mind, that is our mind, it is wisdom, and it is not different from the possessor of mind like the cow of the Samkhyas. If that is so, then how can it be established that "this mind is destroyed"? Because this doubt arose, it is said like this. Therefore, when the cause is indicated by "of the senses," etc., the destruction of the mind is established. The senses, that is, the eye, etc., which obtain objects such as form. Their action is activity, because they are destroyed, that is, completely destroyed, so the mind appears to be destroyed, but this is not its own destruction. If it is not its own destruction, then all things would be cognized, if someone objects like this, then the situation is the same as before. Therefore, it is said, "For example, fire that always burns," and so on. Similarly, the mind does not always apprehend all things, because it is not close at all times. This is what is thought. If so, then how can one realize that this mind is permanent? To this, it is said, "To this," etc. "To this" refers to

The speech of words is well pleasing. Because it is the nature of realization, it should be known that what is called mind, mind, is constant like sound. If that is so, then this is the mind of an elephant, this is the mind of a chariot, and so on, the natures of minds are different. If someone asks, why does realization change differently in the world? The answer is, like mentioning a vase and so on, because their categories are different, such as elephants and so on are different. This is clarified by "different meanings" and so on. "Following different meanings" means by those who realize. This shows that the difference of mind is made by the difference of meaning by those who follow and oppose. This means that there is no recognition. Or, it can be answered by mentioning elephants and so on. If it is only made by the difference of minds, then when those knowledges that gradually impose horses and elephants and so on that do not exist in the empty place arise, what will they rely on to distinguish them? There is no basis for distinction at all. Therefore, there is nothing different from oneself, because all minds are considered the same. It is also not because there are various objects that can be distinguished, because there is no meaning to distinguish there. Someone might think that emptiness of meaning itself is not established, as the young Malayan said: "In dreams and other knowledge, it is not desired that all external things do not exist, having the nature of different realms and times, it is the focus on all external things." In order to respond to this doubt, it is mentioned, "If there are other realms, etc.," meaning that the reason is the cause for distinguishing minds. "Having the nature of different realms and times" means that on things that have different forms, it is called that. Or, the words can also be combined as "realms and times, or on things that have other natures." Or, it can be answered by mentioning "However, those" and so on. Those appearances of fabrication in what place and in what order...
