It is. The other is knowledge. Therefore, the constant is also not to be grasped by my wisdom, because there is no duality of past and present knowledge. Thus, this constant was not previously known, nor is it known now, because by analysis it is not a thing in itself. Without a thing, there is no knower either, because that is the nature of things. Therefore, as it is said, apart from knowledge, on which object does this pride operate, that is the self, thus it is established. If these, how do they become the nature of knowledge? "Past pride," etc., are mentioned. Whatever needs to be understood by my knowledge is still operating, like present understanding. The object of past pride also needs to be understood by my knowledge, which is a reason of nature. In another way, whatever is a knower, or needs to be grasped by my knowledge, needs to be grasped by past pride, like the knower of yesterday (khar tshang). The present mind is also a knower and needs to be understood by my knowledge, which is a reason of nature. "This" refers to the present understanding. "From that" refers to the fact that it needs to be understood by my knowledge. Thus, having made the knower the subject, two arguments are shown. Now, in order to show another argument by making my knowledge the subject to be proven, "those knowledges," etc., are mentioned. "Those" refers to the past and present my knowledge, which is to be proven, meaning the subject itself to be proven. How is it? "Related to one continuum," etc., are mentioned. My knowledge of everything that exists yesterday and today (ni di ring), this shows the subject to be proven. Having the same meaning refers to the dharma to be proven, meaning having the same object. In the seventh meaning of the knower related to one continuum, such as Devadatta, or, those are the my knowledge of the knower related to one continuum. Its object

O, that is itself. This also elucidates the reasoning. Because merely the knowledge of "Da" itself leads others to enter the kingdom, therefore, in order to eliminate uncertainty, the realm of the knower connected with the same lineage is distinguished by reasoning. Saying "like one wisdom" is an example. It means, just as I want to express those of my knowledge as one wisdom. Therefore, from "therefore, for this" etc., the latter aspect is constructed. If one admits that the nature of permanence and oneness is sentient, then, since wisdom is non-different from the nature of the sentient, it will also become the nature of permanence and oneness. But we do not want that, therefore, this contradicts the vow that has been promised. Explaining and connecting in this way, it is momentary, because it does not exist at the time of other wisdoms, so it is said. Similarly, the Vaiśeṣika also said that when associated with existence, the wisdom of the senses of the puruṣa is perception, because if it were permanent, it could not arise. The Kumārila also contradicts his own words, as he himself said: Whoever grasps objects from the outside, acting like the senses, that is also considered momentary, and it does not arise without measure. Because wisdom is one, it also contradicts the admission of six kinds of valid cognition. Similarly, it also contradicts direct perception, because when thinking of various kinds of superimpositions without interruption, the wisdoms related to arising and ceasing are experienced very clearly. Kumārila, having seen all these collections of contradictions, said "wisdoms etc. are also" etc., he considers wisdoms and puruṣa to be permanent and one, why? Because they are the nature of sentient beings. Puruṣa is the nature of sentient beings, which is the characteristic of wisdom. We, meaning, according to our system. Then, how can the wisdom of form, the wisdom of sound, etc., be distinguished? If it is said that it is because the objects of reliance are different? He said "if it is said" etc., the word "if it is said" here is an admission of the system of others, meaning, if it is understood in that way.
