It should be said that it is like my body for the sake of mutual correct combination and having distinctions. What indicates it is "entering a distant place" and so on. It concludes with "thus" and so on. Therefore, it answers with "for a while" and so on. The so-called "first proof" refers to my knowledge and so on, because it has been established, so it is the proof of establishment. Because your knowledge, we have promised that all those who are different from your body, etc., are omniscient, Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, etc., and others who know the minds of others experience it. In order to show that any similar example like the knowledge of another person is unrelated to what needs to be proven, it is said, "Manifesting without dependence." Because knowledge related to another person also arises as the nature of self-awareness without depending on another manifester. Therefore, by cognizing through a cognizer different from the body, etc., this example as the object to be proven is empty. If others do not wish to use only consciousness as an example, but wish to use the knowledge that is completely grasped from objects and other knowledge, that is, the knowledge that arises with its appearance, as an example here, then it is said, "Through the transformation of its appearance," and so on. Even so, whatever cognizes with the nature of self-awareness, and arises with knowledge different from the cognizer, then it becomes doubt, because it is an uncertain reason. If it is also thought that it is cognized by a cognizer different from itself, because it has the nature of arising and ceasing, and is measurable, and is to be remembered, so it is like an object, then therefore, for this, there is also nothing that can hinder the return from the object to be proven, so it is an uncertain return. Even if later knowledge experiences later knowledge, there is no end. A clear object with unclear clarity cannot be established, therefore, in order to establish one object, if the continuity of knowledge is promised, the entire life of a person is required. If also

If one asserts that a little knowledge arises as the nature of self-awareness because it perishes without a place to go, then for those, all the reasons such as 'because they themselves possess the nature of arising and ceasing' are uncertain. Similarly, what is there to hate about admitting self-awareness for other cognitions as well? If one again asserts that it is not the nature of cognition, then, in the case of non-establishment, it can be proven for all previous cognitions, because it is a combination of clarity and non-clarity. If that is the case, then the object will also not be established. Those who assert that all cognitions are self-illuminating because they are free from grasper and grasped, and are not to be cognized by other cognitions, will face the fault of incomplete establishment. Similarly, for other proofs such as dependence on causes and possessing arising, one should point out faults such as proving what is already proven. Also, the special qualification of the subject of the thesis, such as 'whatever exists,' is meaningless as before. This is also not a part of establishing the thesis at hand, because what is not understood by a statement such as 'my direct perception, etc., is knowable because it is a cognizer different from my body, etc.'? The detailed distinction of the subject of the thesis by distinguishing between direct perception and inference, etc., is also meaningless, because it is understood by just the term 'my cognition.' Because the subject of the thesis qualified by the distinctions mentioned above is already established for the opponent, all the reasons are only unestablished. If one takes the distinction of being fruitless and states another proof to establish it, then a meaning that is irrelevant, unrelated, and has another meaning from the current topic will become a place of refutation. Also, when saying 'desire, etc.,' like that, saying 'desire, etc.,' like that, if one only establishes the basis and cause of desire, etc., then that is proving what is already proven, because we do not assert that desire, etc., are without cause.
