This is because the reason of the 'cow's horn' in the argument does not have pervasiveness. In some arguments, there is also a situation where, as previously stated, there is no connection between the property to be established and the reason. To illustrate this, 'like a window' etc. are mentioned. Furthermore, it is not only limited to the unestablished and the uncertain, but it also demonstrates contradiction. Therefore, 'therefore' etc. are mentioned, because 'therefore' is pervaded by the property that is the opposite of the property to be established. The word 'also' means that it is not only limited to the unestablished and the uncertain as previously stated, but it is also contradictory. If there is a connection with the opposite, it will become contradictory, then isn't it also the case that merely having wisdom preceding it has no connection? How does that become its difference? Therefore, 'merely having wisdom is the cause' etc. are mentioned. You, who claim that Ishvara is the cause, only say that it is related to the cause of having wisdom, but if, on the other hand, the connection with the general aspect is not established, then how can things be established as having Ishvara as the cause? Therefore, you have already promised that merely having wisdom preceding it is established, and we are to clearly explain the difference of the property to be established that you claim, that is, the second property to be established that is the opposite of the characteristic of impermanent numerous consciousnesses preceding, and the connection between the reason and the property to be established. How to clearly explain this? Therefore, 'permanent things are not sequential, not non-sequential' etc. are mentioned. Permanent things such as Ishvara are not producers of results, because it is contradictory for permanent things to function sequentially and simultaneously. Therefore, only impermanent things can produce effects, and these also arise with different natures in each moment, so the impermanent and numerous wise agents are established. Also, to show that what you have promised, that Ishvara is the only permanent wise one, is also contradictory to inference, 'objects are sequential' etc. are mentioned.

The valid cognition is shown by "successive knowable" and so on. That consciousness which has an object of successive knowable is produced successively. For example, like the consciousness of the object of flame etc. of Devadatta etc. The consciousness of Isvara is also the object of successive knowable, which is the reason of nature. This is to establish refutation, so there is no need to doubt that the basis of the reason is not established. Because the consciousness of Devadatta etc., which has the object of the meaning of words such as generality, is separated from the dharma to be established, the example is given by the object of flame etc. Also, what is the valid cognition that is harmful to this? Answer: If the consciousness of Isvara, which has a successive object, arises and appears as various, then it will be established as successive. If it does not arise, then at that time it is not consciousness because there is no immediate cause. If there is no object, then the valid cognition of arising that has been accepted will be destroyed. The object of destruction and non-arising will become the fault of having no object, which is the valid cognition that is harmful here. Also, whatever is said, such as "different kinds are considered as dust," is to show that in the example of different kinds, there is no contradiction of the dharma to be established. We say etc., in order to prevent the expansion of the branched. Because it has been prevented, therefore potters etc. are established as the only creators of dust. Therefore, the fault of the example of different kinds is that there is no contradiction of the dharma to be established, because those who have intelligence as a prerequisite do not contradict the dharma to be established in the different kinds of dharma, because they do not contradict the dust etc. If we want to establish a distinction, then at that time the example of the same kind will be separated from what is to be established, which has already been shown. In this way, only establishing the general intelligence as a prerequisite, when that is established, then the power will establish Isvara as the creator of the body etc. Like a pot etc., the creators of those are not potters etc., therefore it is the ultimate of the general difference.
