If you think like that, then the word "etc." includes habits, differences in kind, and the desire to accept, etc. If that's the case, it won't follow things. Consciousness will not focus on things, because its nature is emptiness. If you think like that. In order to explain that its nature is emptiness, it is said that "the nature of things is threefold," that is, the nature of delight, dust, and darkness. "Its consciousness is one," meaning that the consciousness of those individuals is correct consciousness, because for each one, only attachment, etc., determines one nature. It means that consciousness will become one. "Those" refers to consciousness. "Here" refers to sound, etc. "True" is a synonym for "ultimate." Why is it not similar? It is said that "it does not match this," meaning that it does not match the object and characteristics of its focus. The reasoning is that whatever consciousness is not the aspect of something, it is not an object of it, for example, eye consciousness is not an object of sound. As mentioned earlier, consciousness is also emptiness, the aspect of things of three natures, because the pervasiveness is not seen. It's too much, this is a measure that is harmful to the opposite. Thinking like this, how can things like sound be grasped directly by their respective natures, and then, due to the power of habit, etc., a decision is made only on a few things such as moments, etc., and not on all things, and similarly, due to the power of not seeing, etc., consciousness will become one with one aspect? If you think like that, it is not correct. Because we do not think that the conceptualizations of aspects such as moments are also the objects of ultimate things, because things are beyond all conceptualizations. Because it is indirectly related to things, it is a measure only because it obtains things of this kind of aspect. Some others think that joy, etc., are the objects of ultimate things, otherwise, if there is no object, then happiness, etc.

Experiencing the sound of the nature of disintegration, etc., will not change into the clear manifestation of experiencing happiness, etc. Because those joys, etc., are also accompanied by conceptualization. Since there is not even a little bit of uncertainty, it will clearly manifest as being experienced by all natures. Whatever is the understanding of one's own meaning, that is the certainty of those who are certain. As it is said, in order to observe the results of delight, grief, and abandonment, etc., sounds, etc., are established as being endowed with happiness, etc., what is said is uncertain. In order to show this, it is said, "For one person," etc. For example, when Samkhya yogis meditate on the purusha separately, those yogis who are well-versed in yoga will become very delighted and happy when they focus on the purusha. Because they do not see the yoga path progressing quickly, they will become discouraged. And some who are naturally dull-witted will generate obstacles. Others also do not consider that purusha to be the nature of the three gunas, therefore, in order to observe the results of delight, grief, and abandonment, etc., this statement is uncertain. If it is said that joy, etc., arise from conceptualization and not from the purusha, then this is the same for sounds, etc. Therefore, if it arises only from conceptualization, then external happiness, etc., will not be established, because conceptualization is the nature of jnana. Therefore, saying that jnana is the nature of calmness, etc., due to the cause of external happiness, etc., is also mistaken, because even without the proximity of external objects, it is seen that joy, etc., arise from focusing on the purusha. If it is said that from the conceptualization of desire and non-desire, happiness, etc., are established as jnana without relying on the proximity of external objects, then how could this arise from the proximity of others? If it is said that the mind of the three gunas also arises from that proximity, then it is not so, because for that, clarity is independent.
