As it is known. The argument is that whatever exists in all ways cannot be produced by anything, like nature or sentient beings. If the opponent argues that in the case of milk, etc., the result, such as yogurt, exists in all its own ways, then this would be a fallacy of contradictory pervasion. The reason is also not uncertain, because especially what cannot be produced, if it is also producible, then everything will become producible, and it will lead to the fallacy of infinite regress, which is a flawed measure, because what has already been produced will also become producible. Thus, for the moment, it has been established that those things that appear as results will become non-results. Now, in order to establish that those things that appear as causes will become non-causes, therefore it is said, "Therefore, apparent desire is not a cause." The so-called apparent desire is the remainder. Therefore, the meaning is this: the root nature, etc., and the things of apparent desire such as seeds and milk, etc., are not the causes of the so-called "great" etc. and yogurt etc., because they cannot be considered as the cause of production. Why? Because there is nothing to be established. Because there is nothing to be established here, therefore there is nothing to be established. Its nature is precisely the absence of anything to be established. This is also established from the immediate refutation of the previously mentioned result, therefore it is said, "Therefore." The so-called "like another" is like the nature of another, that is, like the nature of things of apparent desire that are not causes. The desired thing that is not a cause is also a sentient being, because it is said, "Purusha is immutable, not nature." The argument is that whatever has nothing to be established is not a cause, like a sentient being. The object of apparent desire also has nothing to be established, which is the non-establishment of pervasion. Both of these are establishing refutations, therefore they are established on both.

What example can be given? Whatever Samkhyas think that the Purusha also enjoys in the manner of an image appearing, to those who think that way, it is said that this is other and also self, which is the meaning of liberation. Because that is liberation, it is not two enjoyers, therefore the example is not established. However, by "clear" etc., the reasoning of other schools is suspected of not being established. To that, if the first reason is made with distinction because it has the nature of all the natures of being manifest etc., then it is not established, because we do not want even the nature of being manifest etc. to have a result. What then? It is by the nature of power. If there is no distinction in general, then it is uncertain, like this, because the distinction of characteristics such as being manifest etc. is not to be produced. Therefore, it will not be inferred that everything is not a result. For that very reason, the second reason is also not established, because there is something to be proven. The word "clear" etc. characteristic etc. grasps the distinction of situations such as more or less etc. That, is the distinction. The term, is Glan Ka. Therefore, manifest desire is not a cause, because there is no fault such as there is nothing to be proven, this is the conclusion. If that is the case, answer with "it existed before" etc., to that, examine two aspects: the distinction

Since there is nothing to be proven, it is said, "Because there is not," and so on. As stated, since there is nothing to be proven by reasoning, it will not become a cause, because those with discriminating minds take the fruit to be proven out of desire. The statement that yogurt and the like arise from the certainty of milk and the like is also not valid, because there is nothing to be proven. This also proves the statement, "Because all things do not arise," for in this way, there is no arising from all things, and then there is said to be arising from certainty. But this is not reasonable for the school that says the fruit exists, because there is nothing to be proven. Similarly, the two statements, "Capacity is for doing capacity," are also not reasonable, because there is nothing to be proven. If something manifestly proves something else, then the prover is considered to be capacity, and the thing to be proven is also established, but otherwise it is not. To show this, it is said, "There is no capacity, and there is no action." That things have a cause is also not reasonable, because there is nothing to be proven. To show this, it is said, "Because the nature is all complete," and so on. This also proves the reason, "Because there is a cause." Even so, it is not correct, therefore, one should not say that the fruit exists, and all reasons should be reversed from refutation. Furthermore, in order to refute those who say that the fruit exists in other instances,
