The substance related to the earth is also expressed by it. Similarly, the sound of utpala also expresses that substance in terms of its kind, so it is possible that they refer to the same thing, thus becoming the same basis, so the sounds of bakula and utpala are not, if you think so. Therefore, it is said, "If" and so on. "Blue" is both a quality and a kind of "blue itself," so it is a kind of quality. Combine the words as "related to them." "The sound of utpala becomes meaningless" means that the substance is indicated only by the sound of "blue." What indicates this is "Whatever those" and so on. "Those" refers to qualities and their kinds. If someone thinks like this: Even if the sound of "blue" expresses the substance that possesses that kind of quality, but because seeing that "blue" refers to the same thing, the mind of the thinker does not arise with the nature of determining the meaning of utpala, because cuckoos and others are also blue. Therefore, in order to deeply eliminate doubts about other meanings, combining the sound of utpala is the only meaningful thing, if you think so. That is not correct, because it is said due to not understanding the meaning of the occasion. Because the meaning of the sound is established, it is unreasonable to say "clear, same basis," etc., this is the occasion. If the sound of utpala is said for the purpose of eliminating doubt, but not for the purpose of understanding the substance. Then, the establishment will not become the meaning of the sound, because the sound of utpala only shows the exclusion of a false assumption. Saying "The sound of blue expresses substances such as utpala, but the thinker does not generate rotation" is expressing a contradiction. The thing that gives rise to doubt should not be the meaning of the sound, because that would be too extreme. For an object that must be made an object, there is also no opportunity to find doubt, because the mind of certainty and assumption are objects that harm and cause harm. If someone thinks like this: Even if the sounds of "blue" and utpala do not refer to the same thing, but their meanings, qualities, and kinds are
