Because of not desiring. As it is said, "That is, because of its own and other's nature, it is said that the measurable is twofold for the sake of realization." Thus it is said. Likewise, others are also the same. Not contrary to that nature, but only for the sake of establishing things, it is said to be the object of the general characteristic, because there is no difference in place. Thus it is said. That is, the simultaneous practice of sound and signs is also shown by its own characteristics. It is not that we have not seen it, but that we are certain that there is no reason in the opposite direction. If so, what is it? It is thought to be due to the difference of non-appearance. Whatever, the variegated is different. What is said, such as the son of a variegated cow, etc., if the son of a yellow cow and a horse are both different from the son of a variegated cow, why is it that the nature of the cow enters only into the variegated cow, etc., and not into the horse, after abandoning the horse? You should say. Thinking like this, what should be said here? The nature of that cow is manifest, and the variegated cow, etc., are able, but not the horse, etc., so it enters into that, but not into others. Why is it that the variegated cow, etc., are able to manifest that, but not others? This is also not something to be argued and observed, just as this is the separate determination of the nature of things. The nature of things is not something to be argued and observed, because the separate determination of the nature of those things is done by the continuity of its own causes. Here it is said, "If that is manifest, etc.," that is the nature of the cow. That is, the variegated cow, etc., not the horse. If so, although different, there is no generality, but only the variegated cow, etc., are able to generate the thought of the same division, but not the horse. This is only not contradictory to our side. What change does it have? What is said about any object, etc., how is the nature of the cow in any object such as the variegated cow, etc.? Thus, when the thought of oneness arises, even if there is no kind of cow that has become an object in that, it dispels the image of the non-cow.

This is also the way to enter into one's own nature. As it is said in "The Non-Cow Exclusion by the Powerful," etc., in order to show that those are not established, it is said "The Non-Cow Exclusion," etc. Among them, for the time being, the exclusion of one's own characteristic can only be determined by the powerful. Any exclusion of the nature of the image of meaning, since it is the ultimate nature of mind, is established by self-cognizant direct perception. The word "also" is to collect the unsaid meaning, therefore, it also indirectly knows the nature of non-affirming negation, this is to show that its nature is not the nature of others. Therefore, if one sees or knows this exclusion of the nature of one's own characteristic, etc., then it is not a common thing of worldly linguistic combination, because that is non-existent and also invisible. Only by seeing what can one understand its relationship with worldly linguistic combination, and not with others, because that would be too extreme. As it is said, "How can one understand by expressing with the sound of non-cow," to this it is said, "Any thing that has such." Any, if it is established, it must also exclude non-cow. It is said, "Things such as cows, even when generating the wisdom of knowing each other separately, are correctly determined after being distinguished. To this, in the meaning of terms, how the term-positors think is the unestablished combination of terms. Like this, if in order to know the separate nature of things, it is necessary to rely on holding other things, then there will be the fault of mutual dependence. As long as there is no holding of others, the separateness of things is reasonable. To this, since it is the cause of having separate distinctions, when it is established after being distinguished, how can cows and non-cows express as desired, and how can they become mutually dependent?" "For wisdom" means the meaning of wisdom. Any "entering into the support and the supported, etc.," to this it is said, "This wisdom arising from sound."
