Because it contradicts the commitment to become an entity in itself, alas, it has fallen into great difficulty. If it is said that it is both non-existent and an entity in itself, and that they are interdependent, then it is said, "If that is not established," and so on. If that non-existence is not established, then the existence of some entities will not be established either, because according to your view, its nature is to exist by cutting off non-existence. If that non-existent thing is what needs to be eliminated, then it will become an entity in itself, because its own nature is not established, so non-existence is also not established, because it is the nature of eliminating non-existence. Moreover, as previously stated, existence is also not possible. The object to be eliminated exists externally, that is the distinction, etc., whatever was said before. Any, the difference of elimination, non-existence, non-entity, for this reason. Having said "etc.", some Buddhists replied to this: The different supports of what needs to be eliminated, because the supports are different, those that are eliminated are not different. However, from beginningless time, various entries, after the difference of the habits of conceptual thoughts that are not in accordance with reality, only in the absence of an object, just like the difference of objects, with the consciousness of what is perceived, to the different things of the external object, they impose eliminations that are like differences and like the nature of things, without self-nature. Those also appear as different and existent by those who have imposed them in that way. Therefore, those that are eliminated become different and the nature of existence due to different habits, for this, it is said, "Is it the nature of existence?" and so on. Thinking like this, for non-existent things, there is nothing called habit, thinking like this. Consciousness without an object, there is nothing at all, this has already been determined for the proponents of consciousness. If this is the case, since conceptual thoughts that are not in accordance with reality are not possible, how can the habit cultivated by it arise? "Non-existence" refers to the non-existent thing that becomes the object. Since consciousness without an object is not possible, there is no consciousness that establishes habits, how can there be habits? That is the meaning. If this is the case, there are no habits.

Therefore, please consider, what will become of the distinct or existing nature of the eliminations caused by habits? Like this, after eliminating the elimination that is manifestly desired to be spoken, in order to also eliminate what is manifestly desired to be the speaker, "you" and so on are said. The distinctness of sounds, the general statement and the specific statement, their mutual distinctness is the classification of sounds. The one with that reason means the one with the reason for distinct habits or distinct eliminations of what is to be said, because this reason exists in this, so it is the one with that reason. Then, if it is established by direct perception that sounds are distinct because their causes are distinct and because they possess contradictory qualities, then (what about it)? Saying "non-common sound" and so on, this is explained from the perspective of the speaking sound: Whatever is to be grasped by the ear consciousness, its own characteristic, the non-common sound, is not the speaker. Why? Saying "because it was not seen before" and so on, whatever sound exists at the time of expression, at the time of expression, it has not been seen before at the time of designation, and whatever has not been seen is because it has been interrupted and a long time has passed. Therefore, it is not expression, and it is also not reasonable to make an expression with whatever has not been seen at the time of designation. Because it would become too extreme. Therefore, the self-nature itself is not the speaker, and there is no dispute between you on this. As it is said: The difference between meaning and sound, It is not acknowledged as what is to be said and what can be said. Because that was not seen before, So it is showing the general nature. It has been said like this. Therefore, there is no fault because it is spoken from the perspective of the speaking sound. In this, abiding like that, if it is like the general nature of meaning that eliminates other meanings, if the general nature of sound meaning that eliminates other sounds is like that. "Mixing and one, and various" and so on, just like the previously explained reasoning, the elimination of sound is also like the elimination of what is to be said, mutual distinctness is not established, because there is no self-nature. Just as the phenomena that can be spoken are not reasonably distinct from each other, what is to be said
