Having mentioned earth and so on. Some say that the words such as "Brahmin" express the collection of asceticism, lineage, learning, etc., even without collecting and distinguishing them. For example, just as the words such as "forest" express dava and so on. Like this, when saying "forest," it is not understood by distinguishing dava, sengdeng, or palasha. Nor is it understood by collecting dava, sengdeng, and palasha. However, all dava and so on are understood. Similarly, when saying "Brahmin," it is not understood by saying asceticism, lineage, or learning. Nor is it understood by asceticism, lineage, and learning. However, after separating from other things, the entire collection of asceticism and so on is understood. Among these, distinguishing is to uncertainly cling to the difference of one thing from many things in a collection. Collecting is the nature of many things that are definitely related to one thing being manifestly connected to another. That which does not have distinguishing and collecting is called that. Others say that the substance itself, etc., which is related to the nature of definitely grasping things, is the meaning of the word. That is also called non-existent because the meaning of the word of related things itself does not exist. Or, because they do not appear as one, like a single letter, these asceticism and learning, etc., are mutually mixed non-existences. Like this, these are not observed individually or collectively by their own nature. However, like a fire wheel, the collection of these appears as a phenomenon that transcends their respective natures. Others say that the existence that has the distinction of non-existence is the meaning of the word. Among these, the various parts of the distinction of non-existence that the meaning of the word itself has, such as bracelets and rings, the existence of the common nature of gold, etc., which all different things follow, that existence with the distinction of non-existence is said to be the cause of the word, that is, the reason indicated by the word, which is the meaning expressed. Others say that the word itself that is manifestly expressed is the meaning of the word. Among these, manifestly expressed

If asked, what is the word "pa"? In response to this, listing words such as "de la 'di (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)", it is said that sound itself is meaning, and in this way, meaning enters sound, because of the connection like "de 'di la (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)", because of the cause, when sound and meaning together become the essence, the sound that possesses the image of meaning is called expression. Others think that the image that appears in the mind, which has external things as its object, takes external things themselves as the essence of the mind, without distinguishing, and say that it is the meaning of sound. To illustrate this, some say "meaning" and so on. The so-called "object of the mind" is what enters the mind, and is synonymous with "dwelling in the mind." The so-called "reason of external things" is the reason of external things, whether existing or non-existing, like the symbols of letters, existing in the meaning of showing one's own essence, that is the "reason of external things." The so-called "clinging to external things" is not distinguishing the essence of the mind, meaning to determine it as external. Like this, as long as one does not place the essence of the mind on the meaning, as long as one practices thinking that it is the essence of the mind, then it will not be determined as the meaning of sound, because it has no connection with the difference of action. For example, "lead the cow here," "drink yogurt," and so on, such actions cannot exist in the essence of the mind, and the sounds also express the meaning of existence related to action. Therefore, clinging to the essence of the mind is not the meaning of sound. When it is placed on external things, then the cognizer mistakenly thinks that it is external, because he thinks that it can accomplish the action, so that is the meaning of sound. But what is the difference between this and the view of the eliminators? Like this, the eliminators also think that taking the image of the mind as the essence of external things is the meaning of sound. As it is said: "By its own nature, fabricated and understood, even if understanding the mind that returns from others, saying that the meaning of sound is that meaning itself, there is no contradiction in expression." If it is said like this, it is non-existent, because the image of the mind
