is the final word. Among them, the word "clear" expresses things, the difference of merits, and actions. As it is said in the Sutra, "The one who has the body that relies on the difference of merits is clear." In short, the way to explain the meaning of this is: because of making a difference, so for the one who has a difference, making a difference from merits etc. is the difference of merits, that is, expressing the action. The support of the body of difference is the body, and by gathering, it also shows that this has the second word of the difference of merits. Therefore, the meaning of the word merit should be understood. These are also merits, so they are different for the sake of merits. Mentioning the difference is for the meaning of complete clarity, like this, the appearance is the nature of having a difference. Having is also included in the scope of the meaning of the word merit. If so, if the difference is not mentioned, the appearance will also be understood. It is not desired to be included in its clear part, because that is understood separately by the word. The word support expresses things, the support of those merit differences is its support, which is the meaning called things. Here, the word "its" is not clearly shown. Like this, the words should be combined, called "the differences of merits etc.", which are the differences of merits etc., the differences of merits etc. and its support are the support of the differences of merits. This is the distinction made by gathering, the mark depends on the world, so it is not shown as a neutral mark. Therefore, the meaning is this: the basis depends on the difference of merits, is also called clear and embodied. Among them, when the word embodied is for things, one should observe the accomplishment of the four establishments, because this has clear limbs, so it is embodied. When it is like this for form etc., it is the accomplishment of the author, because entering into things, that is, including, so form etc. are embodied. The word embodied is the accomplishment of action for things, and the accomplishment of the author for form etc. According to the way of explanation, the meaning of the Sutra is as it was heard, the support of the merit differences etc., the thing itself is clear and embodied, they think so. Just like the difference of merits, form etc.

Moreover, what is the basis for the differences in taste, smell, touch, weight, liquidity, hardness, all composites, and the extent of universality? It is its substance. Because the limbs are clear, it is called having a body. The term "form" denotes the attributes associated with the limbs of beings, such as fingers. As it is said in the scriptures, "Form is said to be a sign of lineage." The explanation here is that whatever is said to be a lineage and a sign of lineage should be understood as the specific arrangement of the limbs of beings and their parts. By saying that "the term arrangement denotes the difference in attributes," artificial attributes are excluded. Therefore, the sign of lineage is the limbs of beings, such as the head and hands, etc. These represent the lineage of characteristics such as the nature of a cow. Form sometimes directly reveals the lineage, that is, when the position of the head and hands, etc., is seen, the essence of the cow becomes clear. Sometimes it is a sign of lineage, that is, when the clear positions of the individual parts of the limbs, such as the horns, reveal the essence of the cow, etc. Therefore, form is what reveals lineage and signs. The term lineage denotes indivisibility and the commonality of the cause of the arising of knowledge. As it is said in the scriptures, "That which has the nature of producing similarity is lineage." The meaning is that the cause of the arising of similar knowledge is lineage. Therefore, clarity and form are the meanings of the words of their own characteristics. To show that understanding the meaning of these two words is clear, it is said, "It is precisely these forms," etc., thinking that lineage will also be excluded later. The term clarity is the meaning of the word itself, which is a supplement. Why? Because it is said, "Because of what," etc. Those refer to clarity and form. Therefore, since they are not expressed by their own characteristics, they are also not the meaning of the words, therefore, because they are not expressed, this argument is not established.
