That statement is also refuted. Furthermore, according to their own statements, it is a fault to express undifferentiated individual things with sounds. We express things, qualities, and actions by the difference of existence. For example, the commonality of being in what and where is seen, and the sound of being is combined there. The commonality of being is unique. Therefore, it is not correct to say that the infinite is the cause because it is possible to represent things through commonality. Because the commonality of existence and so on has become a real thing, whether it is different or not different from them has already been demonstrated. Or, even if we allow the existence of commonality, since there are many commonalities in one individual thing, the sound of existence and so on will not be combined without confusion. If existence and so on are not indicated by sound, then in order to represent other individual things by existence and so on, it cannot be used as a symbol. There is also no application of sound to existence and so on that has not been expressed. If so, it will fall into the fault of mutual dependence. If someone thinks that the sound of existence can indicate the symbol because the thinker sets the name himself from following and deviating, that is also not correct. Because not all infinite names with individual realms can be determined. When a person determines the name many times for individual things with existence and so on, even for similar things that have not been seen, that sound will be used, which is not correct, because it has not been seen. Because of the difference of the unseen past and so on, it is impossible to establish symbols for infinite individual things, because that would be too extreme. If it is said that it is indicated by things fabricated by the wisdom of discrimination, then, if that is the case, it is concluded that the combination of sounds is only for the realm of things fabricated by discrimination, not for real individual things. For example, since the past and the future are not close to non-existence, the wisdom of discrimination that transforms them is a non-object, so fabrication is non-existence.

It is so. If it is so, and because there is no designation for it, how can it become a truly existent thing? Enough with the elaboration. Because it exists in the direction of agreement, it is also not a contradictory reason, so it is established that the objects of sounds are not their own characteristics. Thinking thus: Whatever things such as the snowy mountains, those are of the nature of manifestation and oneness, so differences such as place and time are not possible. Therefore, because designations and terms pervade when they go forth, there is designation for them, therefore the reason is not established on one side of the পক্ষ. If one thinks like this, whatever is said, such as "snowy mountain," the word "etc." includes the Himalayas, etc. Why? Because these are not of the nature of an accumulation of subtle particles. Therefore, there is no designation made by grasping all the parts of these, and it has already been established that they are destroyed in an instant. Therefore, there is no seeing at the time of designation, nor following at the time of designation, so the reason is not established. Thus, for the time being, because it is not appropriate to designate with its own characteristics, it will be a fault of designation becoming meaningless, so it has been shown that designation is not established. Because it cannot be designated, it has been shown that it is not established. To show this, it is said, "All these own characteristics," etc. It has already been established that all things are destroyed in an instant. When designating them, one designates either the unborn or the born. Among them, for the time being, designation is not reasonable for the unborn, because the non-existent is not suitable as a basis because it is devoid of all knowledge and speech. The word "true" is for the purpose of negating the conventional. Therefore, even for the unborn such as a pot, seeing that there is designation, it is not contradictory to seeing, because its object is the very meaning transformed by discrimination, so it is non-existent. Like a horse's horn, it is a similarity with the seventh case ending. Designation is also not reasonable for the born. Thus, for the one who has experienced the born, the name that precedes it is designated when the distinction is remembered, but not otherwise, because it would be too extreme. It is so.
