O! "This" refers to a pot and so on. "This is so" means to indicate difference. Atoms and so on are only from each individual difference, and each difference is its own meaning. However, the answer is given by "impurity," the impurity of things. This is only added through understanding, because there is no certainty, so it is not the ultimate truth. For example, a certain substance itself, which appears impure to some with cleanliness habits, appears pure to others, such as those who cremate corpses. It is unreasonable for one thing to gather many mutually contradictory qualities, because this would lead to the destruction of the thing itself. Or, even if things themselves are actually impure, this does not mean that it is the same as the example. For example, when things like food come into contact with impure substances like dog meat, they abandon their original pure nature and give rise to another impurity. Therefore, it is reasonable for these things to have impurity caused by other reasons. Similarly, for those atoms and so on that become different due to other reasons, there is no reason whatsoever. Atoms and other permanent things, because they are not produced, do not arise. Similarly, in the example of the lamp, the cause of producing knowledge of pots and so on, which is caused by other reasons, should also be added. Explaining with "incompatible mind" and so on, this is explaining the valid means that harms through difference, and for this, one should also state its self-nature and connection as before. In the difficult explanation of the compilation of suchness, the meaning of the words of difference is examined, this is the nineteenth (chapter). In order to refute aggregation, "on this line" and so on are mentioned. For those things that have been established as the dependent and the depended upon are not independent of each other, what is the connection of the cause of consciousness here? This is also "there is cloth on this line" and so on, understood as different things through the difference of consciousness. For example, existence and the thing itself, etc., because they have a cognition that corresponds to their support, they are different things from their support, etc.

The aggregation that has become such, also in the five meanings of words, these threads are cloths. These things are words with qualities and actions. These things, qualities, and actions exist. This thing is the thing itself, this quality is the quality itself, this action is the action itself. This thing has the distinction of being finite, etc., in order to see the knowledge of distinction, therefore it is known that from the five meanings of words, it is transformed into another meaning. The combination is that in which there is knowledge that is not different from the appearance of something, that is the reason for transforming into another meaning from that. Like the knowledge of having earth in lime. In the five meanings of words, this knowledge of "this" is also the same, it is considered as the reason by nature. This is to show the connection, so it is said that "that is not there" etc. If it arises without reason, then it becomes a fault of being always there etc., which is a measure with harm. Thus, for the time being, according to the system of the Vaisheshikas etc., this aggregation should be inferred by following the signs of the mind, but according to the system of the logicians, it should be realized by the direct perception of the mind. Thus, when those things have the action of direct perception, it is said to be direct perception itself because the knowledge of "these threads are cloths" etc. arises. That aggregation is also like that, just as those who have connection are different, so difference is not there. If so, what is it? Like things in general, like existence in general, because there is no difference in its signs, and because there is no sign of difference, the aggregation is one itself in all places. The term "like having" is an example of disagreement, because of the self of having no cause, like the self of existence in general, it is established as the self of being permanent. Because the measure does not see the cause, it is established as the self of having no cause. This is to strive to refute with "this" etc., therefore it is said that the basis of the argument is not established by this. The knowledge that these threads are cloths etc. is an examination by following one's own established tenets, but in the world, it is not reasonable for such arising, therefore the subject to be established is not established. The support and the supported etc.

Because the establisher (reason) is to establish the unestablished (dharma of the thesis), if those can represent various things and rely on those things, then worldly people will have such thoughts, such as there are loquats in this wooden plate, etc. Cotton thread and cloth, etc., cannot represent or exist in various ways, so how can such thoughts arise about it? If you think that we are examining this idea through the power of sectarianism, then you should also explain the reasons for it. Therefore, it is said "one's own will," etc. For those who do not consider something to be the cause of something, how can they themselves consider it to be the effect, and then refute and examine its cause? Relying on will to consider it as the effect, and then refute and examine its cause, you rely on will to speculate on this effect, you should instead refute and examine yourselves. The nature of things does not change according to will, because these arise arbitrarily, so things are not established by this, because that would lead to the fault of infinity. Like this, you can sometimes examine universally examined things as other things. Furthermore, not only is the idea that "this cotton thread is cloth," etc., not established in the world, but in order to explain it, the opposite idea is established, so it is said "trees have branches," etc. In the world, one sees trees with branches, stones with cliffs, etc., but one does not say that branches are trees, and cliffs are mountains. Moreover, the idea that trees have "branches," etc., is not because of the power of aggregation, but because one does not understand the difference between the branches and cliffs that one wants to express, and remains on the remaining shoulders, etc., of the branches, because they are observed without interruption. Here, the word "immobile" is used to indicate that there is no movement, so it is considered to be trees and mountains. The "those" in it refers to cliffs and branches. "These" refers to mountains and trees. So, this vase has shape, smell, taste, touch, and movement.
