It is not, because "that which is not obtained with the prior encounter is the distinction" is the tenet. Also, having said "with interruption and without interruption," etc., mentioned "perverted knowledge," etc., saying "all perverted consciousness arises from holding similar dharmas" is not established, because some do not rely on similar dharmas, but arise merely from the decline of the senses, for example, when the mind of conceptual thought goes elsewhere, even merely because there is a subject of one moon in front, due to the decline of the senses caused by dimness, the phenomenon of following the image of two moons is very clear, just like the arising of consciousness that is not contaminated by the component of conceptual thought. The phrase "for sentient beings whose minds have changed" indicates that from the consciousness of two moons, the consciousness without conceptual thought is firm. For a mind without conceptual thought, there is no holding of similar dharmas, because it is the nature of clinging to the object seen before and after as the same, and it is the nature of stating what was previously experienced. If it is said that all perverted consciousness can abandon the main meaning, even so, the desired cannot be achieved. To explain this, it is said "or without interruption," etc., what is said is the object that arises without interruption. The object itself arises intermittently and continuously, in order to enter by excluding things that are not of its kind, the statement of distinction, etc., which is initially combined, actually exists, therefore your expectation cannot be achieved. Regarding what was said about "having earrings," etc., regarding what was said, it is said "saying having earrings, this consciousness is also," etc., just as the difference in state is obtained for blackness and earrings, etc., which does not exist in all possessors, if this consciousness that has become "having earrings" because of the cause of the difference in state, why would it become that everything has it? Those for whom the difference in state arises, such as blackness and earrings, should be called that. Also, "the object seen elsewhere is," etc.

Having said that, like saying "that kind of circumstantial difference" and so on. Which circumstantial difference is stated as the reason for this intellect? That which has become the nature of an object of focus, establishes negation without focusing on other circumstances. That which you have thoroughly conceived as being in conjunction, is not because it does not appear in the mind anywhere as being separate from an entity that possesses conjunction. Therefore, the reason itself is not unestablished. If you think, "If we do not have a valid cognition that establishes conjunction, then what valid cognition do you have that harms us?" Like saying "the intellect of a conjoined object" and so on. The syllogism is: whatever intellect is conjoined, arises merely from the difference of objects without a basis for the conjunction that you have thoroughly conceived, just like the conjunction of a mansion and so on. "Black, having earrings," and so on, is also an intellect of conjunction, this is a reason of nature. In another way, that which arises when many objects are near, that is separate from the conjunction that you have thoroughly conceived, it arises merely from the conjunction of many objects, just like having multiple objects of genuinely distinct circumstances. This intellect of conjunction is also the same, this is a reason of nature. "Intellect of conjunction" means "knowledge of conjunction." These two valid cognitions can be stated to refute distinction, because it is an intellect of distinction, or it depends on the proximity of many objects and arises. Merely the difference of objects that is separate from the distinction that others want to manifest is reasonable, for example, the intellect of distinction towards sheep and so on, or having as its object two houses located very far away, or
