Regarding objects like pots without companions, the term "one" and so on are also used. For agreements made according to one's own wishes, the knowledge that arises following that maker, one will arise, therefore this is uncertain. Those knowledges do not have number, because they are not substances, and number itself is a quality, so it depends on substance. If it is thought that these knowledges are approximate, such as what is "one"? Because here the consistent dharma is also without companions. Know that "that" has been said, this knowledge should not be considered hypothetical, because this knowledge enters without error. For example, for something with holes, saying "cow" is erroneous knowledge, something like a cow is indeed a cow, but it is not the cow itself, because there is no hump, etc. Similarly, saying knowledge "one" and so on, like an erroneous "one", is similar to "one", but it is not "one" itself, this is not correct. Then what is it? For pots, etc., what kind of mind does not err, such knowledge, etc., is also not. If it is thought that this is not said according to such knowledge, but because the substance they rely on, belonging to that substance, one itself, etc., converge on one thing. For qualities, actions, and collections, etc., knowledge about "one" etc. will arise, to welcome this doubt, it is said "because they converge on one thing" etc. Here the answer is: "That" etc., if this knowledge is from one itself etc. that combines with that substance, for things that combine with a substance of one nature of one knowledge and happiness etc., then, in that way, it can be considered one knowledge. Then, for knowledges like knowledge "two", "three", "four" etc., what is the reason? Having become one nature, there is no two itself etc. there.

What reason is there for saying "one object and one collection"? Because there is no number of collections in one object. Therefore, since it is not pervasive, it should not be examined either. Furthermore, if there is a collection in one object, or anything else, such a reason speculated by one's own intelligence, one should also examine the knowledge arising from the collection in one object, etc., because there is no other object. Is this right or wrong? Because there is no reason to enter, just like a Brahmin's child's knowledge of fire. But that is not the case. Therefore, it can only be that it does not go beyond the faults that have been said. From the knowledge of elephants, etc. Etc., in order to establish the number, the measure stated by the Vaiśeṣikas is doubtful. He said: The knowledge of the army is reasonable, because it is not from elephants, horses, and chariots, etc., because it is not like the knowledge of elephants, etc., just like the knowledge of blue clothes. The so-called "arising from other than that" means other than elephants, horses, and chariots, etc., which means other than that. Combine the sentence "where does arising from that exist". Answer with "combining as desired", etc., because it is considered that the attention to signs, etc., different from elephants, etc., is an internal reason, so it is the establishment on top of the established. The word "etc." includes the recollection of signs, etc. If you want to argue that the object itself, which is different from the imitation of signs, etc., is reasonable, then at this time it will become uncertain, which is shown by expressing the way of inference. Precisely because of this, it is said that "mind, etc., also become numbers". Because it is said that "it is different from that knowledge", precisely because of this, "one mind and two minds and five actions", etc., also become numbers, because for one mind, etc., it is also different from that knowledge. But that is not the case. Therefore, I think this is the idea of considering it uncertain. Furthermore, do you think that the many numerical objects such as two itself are established by the oneness together with many minds?

Whatever is said is without reason. As it is taught, if it is said that it depends on the mind, etc., the word 'only' is said to cut off the consciousness related to the generality of oneness, twoness, etc. As for 'that mind', why not just make a convention of minds that can be counted as two, three, four, etc.? If so, then the seen power cannot be considered as a cause. If not, then the reasoning will be endless. Thus, if there is a dependent mind, there is, and if there is not, there is not, because it belongs to the following and reversing of it. Only that is worth investigating, otherwise, meeting with a laxative and causing diarrhea should also be investigated. For those who want to manifest the characteristics of the object of perception that are contrary to aggregation, etc., and different from things, the appearance or reasonableness of twoness, etc., is not established, because it prevents one from entering many, and it will also prevent generality and aggregation, as it is thought. As for big and long, etc., because it prevents measurement, it is said that there is no cause for the difference in measurement. That is, big and extremely small, long and short, there are four kinds. Among them, big is also of two kinds, namely constant and impermanent. The constant is extremely large in space, time, direction and self. The impermanent is in the third extremely small substance and so on. Similarly, the extremely small is also of two kinds, namely constant and impermanent. The constant is the extremely small, and has the characteristic of a round shape in the mind. The impermanent is the second extremely small. For the big ones such as lotus, amla, and belleric myrobalan, etc., it is also said to be extremely small by relying on things that appear particularly excellent, such as saying 'not a lotus as big as an amla', and so on, it should be compared to others. If you ask, what is the difference between the big and long that enter the third extremely small, etc., and the extremely small and short that combine two extremely small particles?
