Furthermore, it is difficult to establish recognition even for things that perish in an instant. After saying this, they mentioned things like "some" minds. The term "fruit and the one possessing fruit" means that this possesses fruit, which is the meaning of cause. The entity of fruit and the one possessing fruit is the fruit and the one possessing fruit itself, meaning the entity of cause and effect. Thus, by whomever it is experienced, only by that one does it become memory, the rememberer truly exists, but the experiencer does not exist at all. What then? On whatever continuum the experience is extremely clear, and from moment to moment increasingly superior moments arise, sowing the seeds of memory and so on, on that very continuum memory and so on will arise, and not on another. Because the entities of cause and effect are determined separately, this is the general meaning. As it is said: "The fault of others remembering and enjoying, etc., does not cause harm, because they do not remember anything. Thus, memory arises from experience." This is how it is explained. The arising of recognition and so on is also not contradictory because memory and so on are antecedent. Whoever thinks that minds are different also says that there is no reason. It is not the case that a single knower of the reasons for recognition and so on is established, because everything is affirmed by merely the entities of cause and effect. Furthermore, regarding the statement that being bound by attachment and so on in the prison of existence, and the establishment of liberation are unreasonable, they mentioned ignorance and so on. For us, bondage and liberation dependent on a single person are not established at all, because there is no one to be bound and no one to be liberated. The very cause of the arising of suffering from ignorance and so on, up to the ultimate end of old age and death, is merely what is called bondage. As it is said: "If that is so, then only this great mass of suffering will arise." So it is said. Those such as ignorance and so on, also being separated from knowing that very nature, are whatever mind is free from defilement,

That is liberation. As it is said: Because of attachment and other afflictions, The mind itself is defiled, which is samsara. That itself is liberated from those, It is said to have reached the limit of existence. It is said. Whatever bondage and liberation are, for saying "it is one basis" and so on, in order to show that the example is not complete. It said, "These bondages and liberations are" and so on. When it is proved that all things perish as soon as they are born, since those bondages and liberations are one basis, there is no establishment anywhere, so the example is not established. Having thus established one's own side, one prevents the other's side with "always to me" and so on. If attachment and other afflictions, and the practice of that very nature, make some difference to me, then there will be the establishment of its bondage and liberation and so on. For what reason does the constant nature not establish a difference in it, so it is not determined, and the establishment of bondage and liberation and so on, which are characterized by the definite boundary of cause and effect, is not made, just like space, so it is thought. The so-called "in other" means that if a difference arises in me, then it becomes the self of the difference, and I am not different from it, so like the difference, it also becomes impermanent. It is not reasonable for the difference to become a different entity, because there is no connection, this has been examined a hundred times. In the difficult explanation of the collection of that very nature, the examination of the relationship between action and result is the fourteenth chapter. Now, qualities, things, and actions are logical, aggregates, etc. are empty of distinctions. In order to establish this, the examination of the six meanings of words will be arranged. It said, "The one with feet and eyes" and so on. Those with feet and eyes, etc., say that in the examination of the things previously shown, because the types, etc., are non-things, they are destroyed in an instant.
