Is there fault or no fault? There is doubt about the words of the holy person. Since there is no author, the heard, I have no doubt that there is fault. The Vedas are also valid means of cognition. Since it is independent, whatever is said, Even to those who do not believe, That is very established from itself. The meaning of the Vedas is not by other valid means of cognition, It is not related at any time. By itself alone is the valid means of cognition, Otherwise it is just repetition. For other valid means of cognition, Association is not the cause, For those with the same meaning, by realization, By realizing one meaning that is the same, The one itself becomes a valid means of cognition. For anyone who completely refutes, The later valid means of cognition will change again. There also, definitely by the previous one, That meaning is not clearly grasped. Once born and then destroyed, For the meaning, it will not become invalid. Without association with the eye, etc., The ear consciousness will also not become valid means of cognition. If you say that because this is related to other ear consciousness, It becomes valid means of cognition. Then, for the Vedas also, it is established, The association with the consciousness that produces it. Born from other proofs, Consciousness does not exist for both. Therefore, not made by other causes, Not wanting deceptive knowledge. Just as from one sense faculty, The association with other consciousnesses, Is considered the cause of direct perception. Similarly, examine the Vedas. Only by one word, For objects, times, people, etc., Obtaining the non-deceptive meaning, Other causes should not be applied. Therefore, for the stable arising, The various consciousnesses, objects, etc., Having the non-deceptive nature of various consciousnesses, That is a valid means of cognition without doubt. For sounds, etc., it is a valid means of cognition, It should not be established by inference. For direct perception, there is also no definite establishment, Because there is no difference, it will not become a valid means of cognition. A valid means of cognition by itself, By which other valid means of cognition is it established? That also because it is established by others, It will become the fault of infinite regress. If it is thought that for the establisher, Not being established by others is a valid means of cognition. Then, for the established, Not being established will also be the same. Direct perception, etc., become valid means of cognition, Isn't it taken that way? Because it is not taken that way, Therefore, it is not a name of reason. Before definitely grasping, If the valid means of cognition itself exists, That is independent, measuring its own meaning.

By that very self, how is it not realized? The sense faculties such as the eyes, indeed, grasp all objects. Likewise, the valid cognitions also, therefore, do not need reasoning in that very validity. Even without this, experience of objects arises from the mind. That which is not a valid cognition for its own sake, is established by itself like a valid cognition. If there is no other valid cognition that is the opposite of that, then it will not become something to be grasped. Why is it that the object is the opposite nature? Just as the former is not the taker, that is also the wisdom of the nature of another object, or the cause is with defects. Even by that alone, the opposite nature becomes the taker, not being of another cause. Only in the state of arising is this determined to be a valid cognition. Therefore, wherever the opposite nature is, if it is realized by others, That is also a statement of the two, it should not be said only by the conforming Dharma. A non-valid cognition that is only a conforming Dharma, relying on some small part, The unskilled establish all valid cognitions as being of a reversed nature. Because those harm their own nature, they realize such an establishment. Also, in others, by such means, An image arises, because it is blocked by that, because it is established as an inferior quality, it cannot harm or encourage. Because one's own nature is a valid cognition, It is not to be said about this. Those who, having been born, wish to abide, let those be temporarily, with the reason of that state. Because pots and so on are for obtaining their own nature, they are dependent on causes. Having obtained their own nature, they will proceed to their own results by their own nature. What kind of knowledge do you also accept that does not exist immediately after being born? Having obtained its own nature, and then being without, what kind of action is there for that? Why is it that the actions of the causes are seen as different from arising? Likewise, in valid cognition also, because it does not change, it is said to arise. That does not remain even for a moment, the nature of valid cognition also does not arise. After who takes the meaning, it will be able to act like the senses and so on. However, if you accept that it is not a momentary consciousness, or that it is to be examined, because it contradicts what is accepted, it is also harmed by reasoning in this way. Why is it that all things are pervasive? It has been established that it is momentary destruction, because the permanent Dharma is not produced, what need is there to depend on causes?
