Is there doubt about whether it's a cow or a horse? Whatever is mistaken, the certainty of that, Being clearly manifested is finite. Likewise, being mistaken about the appearance of two moons, Also regarding statements, letters, vowels, and so forth, When asking another person, A definite cognition of a different appearance arises. Attachment and hatred, arrogance and deceit, Weakened by hunger, thirst, and so forth, A wrong view arises towards the object of knowledge, Without that, correct knowledge arises. Also regarding the terms of loans and so forth, When both argue, One is the word for incurring debt, The two words for pursuing the previous debt, Due to the endless fear, Speech is not altered by adding or subtracting. Therefore, in the main matter, One states definitively with the desired place and so forth. Thus, only three kinds of knowledge, Desire to control all things, Because of desiring that, even for the gods, It is said that there are two or three truths. Therefore, if one is a valid cognition to oneself, There is no end to either of the two. Valid cognition itself and non-valid cognition itself, Therefore, how does it abide in reason? What is spoken by permanence or belief, Which are definitely grasped? By the speaker and the listener, That is slightly flawed, Not doing that, with wisdom, Whoever is the lama or, Always the one who harms, Being able to be disgusted with such, Or indestructible, that is what one holds. Therefore, faults that are obstructed by qualities, Do not refute speech with faults. Or because there is no agent, Faults are without a basis and do not change. There, there is no fault in speaking with belief, The nature of qualities appears as two. Even with qualities, it is valid cognition itself, How it is established or not established is shown in that way. Therefore, because of possessing qualities, There is no fault in the speaker who bestows that. Because there is no fault, by closely indicating, Those are valid cognitions from oneself. If it is said that from those beliefs there is no fault, By those qualities one understands, Possessing qualities is merely a consequence, That itself will become endless. That is because it becomes known as faultless, At the time of the knowledge of qualities, It is not dependent, Qualities do not benefit that. Merely by existing, it is able to reverse All those faults, If those exist, the knowledge of a person's faults, With an object, will not arise. Because it is ignorance, by those faults, The nature of valid cognition is removed, Because it is not removed, it is established, Therefore, this also abides in oneself.
