The effects are the same. Therefore, the cognition of sound is not different. For objects to be grasped such as a pot, Just as a lamp to the eyes, It generates the ability, similarly, For the sake of perceiving sound, merely through sound, It generates ability in the ear. If sound is always capable of being perceived, And exists by its very nature, Then even if the ear is not well-treated, Why is it not perceived? Therefore, a well-treated ear, Just as in the time of its existence, Because there is a suitable cause, Only perception will exist. If it is not capable of being perceived, Then how will direction exist? If it exists, then another sound Possessing suitability will arise. Or, even if knowledge arises later, It does not arise from its power. It is said to arise from a well-treated ear, etc. Therefore, sound does not become knowable, Because it is not a near necessity. Compared to taste, etc., There is not even a slight difference. From a well-treated ear, etc., Those that are independent of sound, Generate this knowledge called The nature of understanding sound. If the cognition of meaning is the essence of the knowable, Even so, sound will intervene. For you, its consciousness, Is also said to intervene. If it is not so, consciousness Is not intervening, it is the knowable. Sound intervenes, For you, that will be contradictory. The nature of knowledge and the knowable, They are connected like a thread. When one exists, the second Will be obtained, because there is no confusion. If it is the knowledge and connection Generated by a well-treated ear, Then even if the ear is not well-treated, Clear cognition will increase. If the nature of its knowable Is not sound, Then the ear's knowledge Will not change its cognitive nature, They are not those tastes, etc. For knowledge, what connection Is there with sound? Through what, Is it considered the essence of sound cognition? They themselves are not distinct. It does not arise from that, Because sound itself is not the generator. Because it is certain to arise from that, It will always arise. If that is the case, the knowledge with it as its object, Does it always arise or not? Because it exists so certainly, Treating the ear is meaningless. Treating alternately and contradictorily is

If there are occasional contradictions in existence, what is called the arising of consciousness, it is beautiful to carefully examine the good deeds, possessing the characteristic of the power of good deeds. If it is said that the result of consciousness is definitely accomplished, then that consciousness is either always present or always absent. If it is said to be an occasional consciousness, how does it show its good deeds? The answer is, it is because of the good deeds of the ear. Therefore, that is not a good saying. If that non-different ability acts on the ear, then, in the direction of the sky, it is the cause of generating the damage and change of permanence. Because things are not different, good deeds are also permanent. Like things, it also constantly generates that consciousness. If it is said to be different, then it is not reasonable. Because it is said to arise from ability, the ear consciousness itself does not exist. The sect of liberation from otherness and non-otherness has been abandoned. Therefore, saying that it is because of the good deeds of the ear is a low-level statement. It prevents both the object and the subject from being good deeds. Therefore, for the permanent, the manifestation in all places is without a basis. Therefore, based on manifestation, lengths, sequences, etc., some phenomena that appear, all of them become without a basis. Even if they are only the same when not encountered, not everything becomes the object of grasping, because the ability is definitely present, like a magnet attracting iron. If it is said that when a magnet encounters light, it is also attracted, then, since this light has not been seen, how can one know its existence? Why doesn't that light attract even when it encounters wood, etc.? If it is said that it is because of the determination of that ability, it is the same for those who have not encountered it. That combination is immediate, residing near and far, and can be known because there is no sequence, because it generates that consciousness in everything. With the distinction of far and near, how do forms, etc., appear as clear and unclear, just as sounds also have changes such as fast and slow. How can the minds that appear different become one object? If it is said to the proponents of external objects, the same question applies to color consciousness. For the sect that grasps after encountering, like the sound in the ear, the recognition of thunder, etc., does not become different. Therefore, because it is the cause of arising, consciousness
