That arising itself. The nature of knowing that there is power. It is accepted like the power of the ear. In that place, the mind is truly gathered. From the aspect of doing both well. Both faults are false. If anything is incomplete. Then everything will not be realized. Like one nature in water and so on. Inseparable, it is also many. It appears in its own nature. Sound should also be known in the same way. From the clear sound alone. Its object is definitely grasped. From the uninterrupted sky. The ability to pervade is not in sound alone. Therefore, with the nature of not being cut off. It is not realized everywhere. Sound alone is the term for the object. It follows what is heard. By the nature of being uninterrupted and not pervasive. It is also certain to be distinct. Since they are few and the object is one. Sound is also definitely not pervasive. With the nature of going and force. From what and what do they arise? The listener from that and that. Like that, think of the arising of sound. Each image is different. Simultaneously in their respective containers. For what reason does it appear? If it is said, how is it held? What is said here, when for a while. The pleasing movement on the water. Whatever appearance of the eye arises. When it turns back. The many forms of the sun. Why are the shapes different in the container? If it stays in its own place and holds. Then where do the many come from? If the eye is not touched slightly by the finger. How does one become many? The appearance changes and does not allow difference. I say sound is also like that. Others who refute this. Those who want the image to appear. If that is truly realized. Why does it not appear above? In the depths of wells and so on. How does it appear if there is no image? When looking at the mirror facing east. How does it become looking west? The sun not appearing on the water. One eye is above and below. The two sides become the sign of entering. Because the support is round and stays. On that, the bright upper side. I will see the sun. Because it is arranged through. The one who is below will be seen. It is one, so above. The one who stays appears below. Therefore, only below. The sun appears in the interrupted place. Like that, going east and entering. Arranged to go west and enter.

Thereupon, at the first sight, due to illusion, it is perceived as looking towards the west. Abiding in many places, even if there are images, because of understanding with a similar mind, it does not exist among the many. The difference of places is distinct, that arises from subsequent inference. Knowing "that is this," direct perception will surely be harmed. Just as a person gradually progressing, even if going to different places, Lha-chin (god-given) will not become different, so too sound is not different. Because of understanding as one, how can it be seen repeatedly? That cannot be divided by time, similarly sound is not caused by place. If there is no contradiction in sequence, please also regard it as pervasive. Because seeing is established, what is the dharma? Acknowledge it in every way. Just as even if a hole is dug, even if it is not completely finished, the vastness of the sky is a great mind, narrowness is a small mind. Therefore, with other differences, the entry of sound, thus it is a delusion of the mind. The grossness and, subtlety that sound possesses cannot be indicated. The clarity and unclearness of the mind, are considered as large and small. For pots and so on, also observe, after illuminating with great light, that will only become clear. Small light illuminating becomes unclear. Similarly, all lengths and so on, it is said that dharmas exist on sound, if not seeing related to meaning, sound will not be expressed. If that is the case, for what was not there before, everything will understand its own meaning. If it is impermanent, then for this, seeing the connection is unreasonable. If the knowledge of connection is established, it will definitely not exist at another time. If understanding the connection to others, it will not express others. If knowing the connection to the sound of a cow, the sound of a horse is not expressive. However, others also by nature, only slightly understand, for that there is no reason, therefore it cannot be determined what that is. Because for the listeners, the term of such a thing, it is reasonable to be called knowledge. Thus the speaker is unreasonable. The one who does not understand initially, what does the sound want to express? If it becomes understood, it is definitely not understood before. Because it is a limb of direct perception, light illuminates even before.
