The word "doing" is contradictory. Due to attachment to external objects, from what does conceptualization arise? This image is the producer, and it is said to be the speaker. The essence of one's own characteristics, this is untouchable for that which is without difference. Only from that part, etc., others are not to be spoken of. That image is of cognition, by the force of power, it is not mixed with others. Because this is to be cognized, therefore this is not another self. Like the words daytime eating, etc., the result of this is also twofold, namely the direct cow and the indirect, because it possesses concomitance and exclusion. Therefore, sound is things, it can speak its own meaning, and it can also exclude from other things, neither of the two is primary. Separate appearances are also like that, the general is considered to be cow-ness. For all the speckled cows, etc., because it is certain that they are the same. From the attachment of thinking of things, therefore it is also called a thing. That knowledge is sudden, and delusion arises from its own seed. That its aspect, is the meaning of that sound, is said to be admitted. The general thing, in essence, is also determined by delusion in this way. The general thing, in the ultimate sense, is not reasonable. The essence is not different from the mind, how could it come from another meaning? If this is not different, it is the essence of the aspect of the mind, then like an external object, it is determined by delusion. That is not meaning, it is independent, that comes through indirectness. Therefore, it is shown that the self-nature thing is not existent. Eliminating those with the nature of images, it is also born from words, like separate appearances, speakable, and sudden. For us, this word meaning, is only established as our own essence, and it holds on to other aspects. That which can cut off other wisdom, therefore wisdom is known, how is it not existent? In the ultimate sense, it is not different. That which is not different is also like that, by what does it become a synonym? That which is not different is also one thing, for the non-thing, how can that exist? By speaking of one meaning, one can obtain a synonym. The essence of non-existence is also one, just like the transformation of conceptualization. That which is different is also like that. From that...

Where are the categories? The expresser is truly there, Categories are neither two nor non-existent. The expressed is not separate from them either, But is shown in various ways. However, many are also one action, If it is seen as the doer, Then it is designated as one dharma. It also enters into one kind, For example, in some places like the eyes, The appearance of one consciousness is one result. Although there is no single self-nature, Some produce one sound, such as heat. Holding water in pots, etc., Whenever any action is performed, Whatever is the consciousness of that place, If those two are also different, But do the work of combining into one, It is water, therefore it is called one. Just like consciousness, it is also its cause, Therefore, there is no difference in meaning. There, with a general word, The sound of saying pot, etc., Cutting off those of different kinds, Are the causes of one image, etc. Likewise, one itself does many meanings, Therefore, it is said to be many, Because it turns back from what is not the result, Therefore, it is completely examined in many natures. For example, a form with obstacles, If it is something that can be shown, For example, the sound is just produced, It is the arising consciousness and the audible. By the distinction that it is not the cause, Sound is established in some. For example, the sound arising from exertion, For example, the honey of bees also, Because it is separated from the result and the cause, In some places here it is called sound. Not audible, like form, Like lightning that arises without exertion. Such distinctions, The reasons for different meanings are, To be examined from the reversals, etc., Likewise, the sound that depends on it. Likewise, the sign itself is for that reason, In the unmixed meaning, it is the expressed. Sounds are established in different ways, But in me, the categories do not change. The realms of many and few, Following after that expression, Expressed by general and specific, There is no contradiction in them either. The reversals of those meanings, Are illusions created by conceptual fabrication, By the distinction of the dependent and the discarded, What is divided is not truly existent in the ultimate sense. The self-nature of those external objects, Is imputed, not truly existent. Division and non-division on things, Do not exist by their own nature. From the many of one's own seeds, The expressions of things that are separated, Are the power of
