It does not exist, because there is no manifestation. That is shown to be confused. Of the past and the future, possessing the object of the permanent universal characteristic, if it is said to have consciousness, this is given. Is it not merely non-apprehension? If it is merely an object, then, for the manifested phenomena, there will be no change here. The manifestor of the universal characteristic is not, like the one who pierces the snowy mountains. This, for the generation of those, because it is other-dependent, there is no relation. Because it is permanent, therefore it grasps only one, consciousness is also not other-dependent. From the combination of the self-supporting sense powers, because it does not depend on others. Is existence always an object? Or is it never, the consciousness of one's own nature arises, is it possible or impossible? If once it is such a thing, then it will always be the same. That is possible or impossible, the essence abides by its own nature. Those are permanent, so they are not moving, which one is the change of entering? The cow itself is from the cow, because it is a different meaning and a different object of thought. That is like form and touch, etc., like saying a black horse. Here it is said to be confused, like the debater, etc. In this way, for others, show all the faults of inferior reasons. Furthermore, the general characteristic is on many, entering if it is said, what is desired for that entering? Is it abiding or just manifestation? For a while, the self-entity does not disappear, if it is this abiding thing, is the support able to do it or not? By what does it become the establisher? That is like Vadhi himself, etc. There is also no obstacle to going, because there is no action. Therefore, there is no investigation for the base. Is that abiding in the collection? If so, it is not so distinguished, therefore those who do not establish otherness, assert the nature of the support and the supported. For the going of fruits, etc., because it becomes the base by being an obstacle, for all the general characteristics of the ripening of going, is it possible for one's own consciousness to arise? If so, what is the cause of manifestation? If this powerless one and the powerful one, are done by the manifestor, the arising is unstable and changing, like a lamp manifesting a vase, etc. The differences of the types of vases, etc., are also, on those who abide in themselves, for all abiding also becomes the support, like the noble lineage. For that

Also, in otherness, when things arise in that, how are they seen? It is not known as the support of the dwelling place. They do not arise simultaneously with it. Because they are permanent, before that, they are not a dwelling place, not pervasive. Not coming from elsewhere, because they are unmade. Self-abiding, combined with the senses, etc., if one grasps it as one, then in all places it will become an object of perception, because it does not abandon its own nature. If it is said that it is not different from realization, then will that also become the grasper? Likewise, does it not grasp that? Or will it become a different entity? In the categories established by other schools, this knowledge of wood, etc., does not arise, because of sequence and following, etc. Like the wisdom of a cook, etc. That which is not a permanent producer should be known as harmful. In the refutation of what was encountered earlier, firmness is also harmful. Thus, these different categories have been made clear as one nature. What is said by king's inference, etc., will also become a conjecture of saying that things are permanent. Whatever is said to be a distinction, when those are inferred to be completely eliminated, it is to eliminate permanent things, and that is also an impossible nature. Atoms, space, and directions, etc., if they abide without mixing, therefore, with their own nature, they show different natures closely. If those are also of other nature, having become mixed, even if there is another, if the display of different natures is not confused, then how do they show the different natures of these distinctions? If it is said that it is only self-nature, why not accept atoms, etc.? Like dog meat, etc., only with its own nature is it an impure place. If it is connected with that, the others are also like that. If it is accepted here, like a lamp, a vase, etc., this is illuminating, and this is also like that. If it is definitely abiding in the nature of that illuminator, this is also like that. This impure thing is conventional truth, not its true meaning. That is also in another place, how does this transform? However, even if it is of a transforming nature, by the power of its own flesh, etc., because it is impermanent and unborn, one does not obtain an impure thing. By the power of lamps, etc., the momentary meaning of a vase, the knowledge of ornaments, etc., will obtain the cause of production, argument.
