It is called time. From the minds of the east and others, it is inferred by direction. From the gradual arising of consciousness, the mind is also inferred. The consciousness of form, etc., because it arises gradually, relies on other causes besides form, etc., like carved wooden carts, etc. If the great elements such as earth are admitted as causes, then sounds, etc., are established by relying on them, so the former is not a proof. Some constant and pervasive ones cannot be established as aggregates, because their concomitance is incomplete, so sequential and non-sequential, etc., can also be obtained. The cause of knowing other and non-other, etc., is the attention arising from the difference of names, therefore, those times and directions, because they are indivisible, one, and real, other and non-other, etc., are not established. That previously stated proposition is to be transformed. Other than the eye, etc., the consciousness that arises immediately from the six is the mind, and we also admit it as such. If that is permanent, then all consciousnesses should arise simultaneously. Therefore, the proposition previously stated here, which is to be transformed, has been refuted. Buddhists and non-Buddhists, whether the stable mind is established or not, others speak briefly with the inclusion of "A," and also repeat it elsewhere. In the well-spoken words that summarize that nature, examining the meaning of the words of substance is the fifteenth chapter. By negating all substances, those who wish to rely on them, in the same way, all qualities, etc., become non-existent. When negating those with relationships, what is the collection for whom? In that way, this negation of difference should also be stated. If coarse substances such as blue are said to be one, like the appearance of holes, since it is clear, why does it not appear? The blue, etc., seen in a wide place, if it is not clear at that time, then it is different from it. If it is not so, then wrong thoughts arise about others, and you admit that the number appears outside of elephants, etc., but there is no appearance outside of consciousness. The names that are well connected by desire are those that follow attention, these consciousnesses of pots, etc., like one, etc., arise like consciousness, etc., they are not substances.

Therefore. What kind of mind distinguishes things? With that very unerringness, it is unreasonable to speak of that knowledge. That is because it is related to things, it is one or the same meaning, because of gathering on qualities and so on, is it considered a single consciousness? If that is the case, the single consciousness itself, even if it is, what is the mind of two and so on? What are the six meanings of words and so on? What is the cause that those depend on? Gathering and so on in one meaning, this consciousness does not exist. Therefore, this will become confused, like a person's perception of fire. From the knowledge of elephants and so on, the knowledge of the army arising from others, produced from different characteristics, like the knowledge of blue cloth and so on. If it is a symbol combined with desire, and attention and so on are methods, that knowledge is desire, because of that itself, knowledge and so on also become numbers. If it is said that depending on knowledge, numbers can be established, merely entering into the symbol, why not acknowledge that knowledge? With the distinction of big and long and so on, expressing the size, that meaning is also not a real thing, why not acknowledge it as merely a distinction? The row of houses is long, and how does it appear as big? For that, of such a size, it is not a discrimination of the essence. Gathering in one meaning, if it is said that it is shown that way, because they are mutually different, speaking separately of those branches, and separated from others, different from others, and meeting and separating from what, for others, the determination is a thing, the continuum of meeting and so on, the cognitions, those examinations are meaningless. If meeting does not exist, seeds, water, and land, and so on, always produce fruit, because there is no difference, it would be a fault. Land and seeds, water, and so on, understanding them as having dependence, because they do not always produce their own fruit, producing is like the water of a waterwheel. Those that depend on what, things will become meeting. Because that is the reality of difference, it should be known as different. Meeting with what, is called enjoying meeting. Completely abandoning that other than that, that itself is the enjoyer. This thing is without interruption, or this is with interruption, such distinctions of knowledge, if these do not exist, from where can one understand? What
