What arises? Because it generates from a pure cause, That is definitely a valid cognition. Because the function of the object is perfected, Like the thought of whiteness on a conch shell. If words of distress, such as hunger, are not spoken here, Then the speaker, Foolishly argues endlessly here. Because of the doubt caused by the cause that produced the fault, Initially, it does not become understood as valid cognition, Such a consciousness is considered special. Thus, with the consciousness that performs the function of the object, Having ascertained the purity of the cause, It is not reasonable to speak of the fault of engaging in an object that has not performed a function. If validity arises from itself, It exists with a universal manifestation in all things. The consciousness that possesses harm and causal defects, Is eliminated by us. Because there is no consciousness that possesses harm and causal defects, Validity is attained. That which is obtained from others, The determination of validity changes in that way. Thus, this absence of that, Your side calls the absence of things, Is another valid cognition, in our system, It is the inference called non-apprehension. This reasoning alone is sufficient. Non-validity also arises from itself. Because there also, This kind of reasoning can be stated. Therefore, from itself, The nature of non-validity. Exists with a universal manifestation in all things. Because there is no consciousness that possesses harm and causal defects, That is eliminated. Thus, the mind that is the nature of understanding, Obtains the nature of validity. How does the knowledge of objects arise from causes? The knowledge of qualities eliminates faults. If non-validity depends on others, It will only become endless. That depends on validity, And that does not abide in itself. Thus, because there is no harm, You say it is the nature of validity. Likewise, for non-things also, Another valid cognition called non-things is asserted. That also, because there is no harm, Is asserted to be the nature of validity. If that and that are asserted in that way, Then the ultimate will not be found. Therefore, for consciousness with harm, Independent validity is not established. Therefore, the previous consciousness, Will not be eliminated by this. However, if one asserts validity without harm and without dependence, Why is there hatred for the one who changes in that way initially? Because it is validity without dependence, This consciousness with harm. If this consciousness with harm, Eliminates the previous consciousness.

If so, what would be doubted from that? Because it is an independent valid cognition, this would doubt that there is harm. Because that contradiction has been determined, doubt will not arise. From the aspect of oneself being a valid cognition, certainty also arises from oneself. Why make an effort to establish that there is harm? Like this, for any self, first determine that it is a valid cognition. Without effort, it is naturally the case that there is no harm to it. Therefore, there are three types of knowledge that can be known. Why is this said? Because that has been determined from that, there is not even one opportunity. If doubt arises from hesitation even for the unseen, because there is no harm, if there is no harm, it does not arise, it is unseen. If so, why are you satisfied with the three types of knowledge? Even if harm is not seen, here, like before, there is doubt of harm. As long as there is no non-deceptive result, Then the doubt of harm, why does it not turn back? Therefore, the three types of knowledge have no definite meaning. Therefore, even if harm has not arisen, there is still doubt of harm. Because the truth of things never exists in words. As long as one is alive, the knowledge of the conch appearing yellow is free from the knowledge of harm, and arises as long as one is alive. Why will it not arise as a valid cognition? Because there is no completely pure cause. Or because of other reasons, it will not arise as having harm, therefore doubt will not turn back. Therefore, this doubt with reason is not ignorance. Because seeing purity and non-deception, the wise person will have no doubt. That, for all expressions, will not produce the nature of hesitation. Because seeing language and non-deception, that wisdom has no hesitation. Here, too, there are some ignorant people who again produce doubt. Relying on this, the Pervader slandered the nature of hesitation. Relying on the differences of place, time, and the state of people, even if it is determined to be a valid cognition, it is clearly determined to be a valid cognition from others. Like this, for place and time, etc., it is also determined from other valid cognitions that there is no harm, therefore, for the previous knowledge, it is determined to be a valid cognition. Expressions such as son, age, etc., whatever has the combination of three languages, is the nature of such words.
