The substance of a snake is also, because it is separate from different races. The uncomprehended self-nature is contrary, and it is the same for all wisdom. Adding a fabricated single cognition, it will also enter into various kinds. With the differences of various states, it exists with the emptiness of difference, for the self that has a stable self-nature, whatever other speculations are made, my Purusha, even if he obtains states such as suffering, he will not seek self-nature with things like crystal and reality. When other states arise and change, the previous state will not be completely destroyed. In order to conform to the meaning of the latter, it will merge into the common subject. In terms of one's own self-nature, various states are mutually contradictory. The common subject, at all times, should be known to be without contradiction. In this regard, if from the Purusha, there is no difference in one state, when these have birth and death, it will be the same for this as well. If it is related to contradictory dharmas, it will become the only difference, just as you determine that Purushas each have their own self-nature. If your various states, with their own self-nature, cause cessation and absorption to occur to the Purusha, then suffering and the like will also be experienced. If other self-natures change, one does not want others to change either, even if its self-nature changes, therefore I will become a living being. If the actor and the enjoyer are not dependent on the state, then the state-possessing itself will change, and the actor and others themselves will not exist. Therefore, what is expressed by the word "constant" is not to be refuted for me. Because it has the change of its own self-nature, it will become a drinker. The snake also, because it is destroyed in an instant, will obtain crookedness and the like, if it is a support object, like the Purusha, it has no connection with other states. This knowledge of thinking "I", in the absence of an object, in the beginningless sentient beings, from the power of the seed, it will enter into a little. Because some fabrications cling to its own self-nature, it will obtain the master, therefore it will not universally enter. Otherwise, for your Purusha as well, debate and examination are the same. Therefore, because there is the ability of difference, everything will become without dispute. Constant

Towards the object of focus, all those who arise with the thought of "I" arise in an instant, because the efficient cause exists separately. Even in the impermanent object of focus, it appears clearly, therefore, it is meaningless to surpass and examine in other meaningful objects of focus. For the knower, recognition is reasonable through habit, but this non-knowing, which is not that but knows that, is not a cause of confusion. Therefore, the confusion of the "I" thought is adhered to because it is harmless and not desired. It is not said for long, because reason sees harm in it. For those who have faith in the powerful ones and others, the confusion that they are the cause, etc., how can various things arise from the nature of mere habit? Thus, when the "I" thought is present, it dwells in the state of having no object of focus. Therefore, there is no knower that is grasped by the "I" consciousness. Therefore, in all valid cognitions, there is no example at all. The reasons also do not establish the basis. Apply them appropriately to the teachings and so on. From the excellent explanation that gathers that very reality, the examination of the self examined by the debater is the eighth chapter. Others think that the intelligence of consciousness is a distinction of self-nature. They understand those minds as their own nature, as the self-nature. For the fruit bestowed by the chief, it only experiences that. There is no agent in it, only nature is desired there. If one mind is also desired there, how is it reasonable that those with different self-natures, such as form, sound, and mind, are very clear? The mind is of one nature, and it dwells at all times. How is it reasonable that it is the enjoyer of various kinds of objects? The various kinds of seeing, desire, etc., are the cause of its enjoyment. If it does not arise, but it does arise in that way, then the person becomes one who has birth. Why is it that seeing, desire, etc., which are different from the mind, do not change? If birth and destruction are obtained in it, can this also be reversed in the person? If the actions of virtue and non-virtue are not done by me, then from what does the difference in its enjoyment arise? If desire and accordance are given greatly by nature, then this connection of theirs remains like a lame and blind person. If that is what is desired, what about having craving?

Therefore. The nature of not accomplishing, Does not depend on others even slightly. Even at the time of enjoyment from meaning, If this is immutable, Then this is not the eater, And the nature is not the benefactor either. If there is transformation, Then permanence itself will be destroyed. If the transformation is another form, How will it be even in that state? The mind with the aspect of an object Initially engages thoroughly, And the meaning determined by it, Is realized by the person. Thus, this very act of eating, Is the gateway to the arising of images, If you think that the very essence of this person, Is never abandoned, It should be said that the image, Arises as its very nature. It becomes the very essence of the living being, If it is different, there is no eater. The chief, the very essence of the mind, In the distinction of accomplishing various things, In accordance with the desire to see and so on, How can it arise correctly? The chief, such as valid cognition, The agent, the knower, the consciousness, And what is called the inedible, What other difference is there from this? Since the chief is endowed with intelligence, If you say that there is no contradiction in this, Then if it is endowed with intelligence, Like a person, it obtains the mind itself. Intelligence and various attachments, Likewise, awareness and the one who makes aware, Mind and experience, All of these are expressions of the mind. Like the permanence of the arising and decaying, Like sound, smell, taste, etc., If you say that intelligence is the nature of the mindless, If you want to establish the proof itself, These reasons for both, If you want to state the unestablished consequence, Then there is no harm to the reversal. If, even in the mind itself, You are attached to the word "I", Then there is no harm to me either. If permanence is difficult to prove, Because the eyes and so on have results. If The mind itself is permanent, Then the eyes and objects etc. will be fruitless. If fire is permanent, Then firewood will become meaningless. Like bedding and cushions, By the very reason of aggregation, For the eyes and so on, After having well explained what is the other meaning, If it is possible to make a distinction, If that is established for them, Why do they want to establish, They want to establish that they benefit the consciousness of destruction. The unchanging benefits the benefactor.
