Two are formations, three are unconditioned and permanent. All momentary things are conditioned, selfless and without a maker. Thus it is said. Well, if omniscience is established, then his teachings should certainly appear. To establish omniscience, what valid cognition is there? It can be said that any quality of mind that has been cultivated with reverence, without interruption, and for a long time, can all become clear. For example, just like the appearance of a young woman for a lustful man, these aspects of the four noble truths are also, as previously stated, qualities of mind that have been cultivated, which is the reason of nature. For the time being, it is impossible that it is not established from the door of the basis or from the door of the reason, because the aspects of the four noble truths that abide in pervasive discrimination, and the reason—merely the qualities of the mind—are to be known separately by oneself. This is also not contradictory, because it exists in the aspect of desire for the concordant side. It is also not uncertain, because the fruits and causal entities of the qualities of mind with cultivation and clear appearances are like the potter and the owner of the pot. When all are brought together and the fruits and causal entities are established from perception and non-perception, the establisher is established by the fact that the dharma of the mind with cultivation pervades what can appear clearly. Thus, when the basis of pervasion is afflicted by desire and enters, from the qualities of mind cultivated with reverence, without interruption, and for a long time in the appearance of a young woman, clear appearances were not seen before, and later, from correctly recognizing cultivation, clear appearances are also correctly recognized. Thus, in three ways of perception and non-perception, the aspects of the mind that distinguish clear appearances and cultivation should establish the fruits and causal entities. Thus, because the pervasion with all-encompassing aggregation is established, there is no uncertainty, therefore the reason has no flaws. So, this establisher, from making the aspects of the four noble truths appear manifestly, becomes the one who makes the four noble truths appear.

Although it is said that the omniscient that one wishes to express can be established, it is not the case that it universally manifests all phenomena. Therefore, in order for it to be established, another means of establishing it must be stated. If asked, it must be stated that any word that is determined to be meaningful without being deceptive by valid cognition is preceded, either directly or indirectly, by the knowledge that manifests that meaning, just like the word "fire burns." The word "all conditioned phenomena are momentary" is also meaningful, being determined without deception by valid cognition; this is the reason of the effect of meaning. This is not unestablished, because from the perspective of establishing that all phenomena are destroyed in an instant, this word itself is of true meaning. It is also not contradictory, because it exists on the concordant side. It is also not uncertain, because even if it is merely a word, preceded by doubt and reversal, that which is meaningful, determined by valid cognition, is preceded, either directly or indirectly, by the knowledge that manifests that meaning, because of the proximity of perception and non-apprehension. Otherwise, smoke and so forth would also become something that must abandon reasoning, and all effects and causes would become interrupted. Although it may change in this way, if asked, what valid cognition is there to establish that the clear appearance itself, which has the characteristic of passing through many existences, arises over a long period of time, and abides in universal conceptualization, that existence changes, and that existence continues? It must be stated that whatever is mind connects to the subsequent mind, just like the present mind. That which arises at the time of death is also mind; this is the reason of nature. The confusion of the final mind of an Arhat is also not the case, because that is known only from scripture, or because it generates another mind without afflictions, or because the reason has the distinction of "if there are afflictions." Thus, future existence is established. Here, from the habituation of previous lives, beings engage in the habituation of asceticism, anointing, reading, and so forth; thus it is strongly proclaimed. Therefore, in order to establish that, a valid cognition must also be stated: whatever is mind is preceded by another mind.
