The Voice of Debate. Hiding the source of liberation. The Voice of Debate. Hiding the source of liberation. In Indian language: Tarka Bhasha. In Tibetan language: The Voice of Debate. Homage to the Buddha! Starting from the master, the Lord of the World, in order for children with immature minds to hear the fame of the Dharma, now I will clearly explain the Voice of Debate. Here, those who prioritize speculation and pursue meaning, in order to accomplish all the benefits of beings, should follow the reason of valid cognition, and first establish valid cognition. Valid cognition is correct knowledge, whose object is previously uncomprehended. Because it measures things, it is valid cognition, and it itself is correct knowledge, because it is free from the faults of doubt and reversal. Undeceptive knowledge is called correct knowledge in the world. Doubtful and reversed knowledge does not possess undeceptiveness, such as the knowledge of thinking whether it is a dry tree or a person, and the appearance of water in a mirage. Its object is previously non-existent, so its object is previously uncomprehended. The object is a thing, such as a vase, etc. The knowledge that arises from it and is able to obtain its meaning is valid cognition. So, if the knower, the person to be combined, and the thing that becomes the object of action cannot be obtained at any time, because it itself cannot be obtained, then how can it be valid cognition? It should be said that knowledge does not forcefully incorporate things by grabbing a person's throat, but in this way, that the nature of things is just like this, not in another way, in this way certainty is generated. If it does so, then it is valid cognition, there is no contradiction. A person intervenes because of need, and does not intervene if there is no need. Things are also obscured by yogis and meat-eaters, etc. What distance is there for knowledge? So, because of undeceptiveness, knowledge is valid cognition, and is undeceptiveness also from obtaining what is seen? What is seen is not obtained either, because it is momentary. If one sees a shape and obtains a tactile sensation, then

In order for others to see, in order for others to obtain, because of obtaining non-realization, how could it become a valid cognition? It is not so. Although in reality, it has already been obtained by others, nevertheless, thinking that only seeing is what I have obtained, clinging even more to the one, therefore it is said to be obtaining realization. Whatever arises as the appearance of water, etc., in mirages, etc., that is solely non-valid cognition because it is impossible to obtain its meaning. So, this is something that can be obtained, and this is not. Thus, regarding the function of meaning, one can ascertain that it has not been obtained, and merely the arising of consciousness is not deceptive. Because those who are not deceived cannot distinguish the differences. Therefore. How is that a correct consciousness? This fault does not exist, merely the arising of consciousness cannot distinguish these differences, but from the arising of the difference of consciousness, it is spoken of as the difference of one. Even so, those of dull intellect cannot realize the non-deceptive nature of consciousness from the arising, but seeing someone who has long been familiar with the functions of burning and cooking, filling and bathing, striving and smearing, or seeing thick smoke, etc., one will definitely grasp it. Those of non-dull intellect realize it solely from very clear direct perception. If, because of obtaining the function of meaning, it is the nature of non-deception, it is a valid cognition.
