To do something else is not like that, but it can produce an unprecedented effect of itself. The explanation for this is, for example, seeds and so on. What is to be destroyed and the destroyer are to show that they are not the same as what is to be produced and the producer, and this is what is to be destroyed. Since what is to be destroyed is the essence of the object to be manifested, therefore, for destruction or the difference that is in accordance with it, or other forms, etc., it will not exceed these two distinctions. Similarly, for what is to be destroyed, one can also argue and examine, such as whether it has a nature contrary to itself, or whether it is not like that. After such argument and examination, if according to reason, it will fall into the state of causelessness and meaninglessness. In order to show that this argument is included in inability and meaninglessness, therefore, things like hammers and so on are mentioned. In order to summarize that what is to be destroyed is not the same as what is to be produced, it is said "what is to be destroyed" and so on. And "any" and so on, refers to the fact that after the hammer and so on are destroyed, the reversal follows, which has been explained before, and now it is mentioned again, and then refuted with "it also" and so on. What is to be explained here is that if the nature different from following and reversing is established, then it will definitely be able to produce its result; if other natures are established, then these will hinder the production of the vase. For the thing whose nature is destruction, by pointing out the fault mentioned earlier, what remains is the continuation of the production of pottery, which is in accordance with my following and reversing, which is reasonable, so we admit it. The explanation for this is "it also" and so on. In order to summarize and explain this reason, it is said "therefore" and so on. Regarding the elimination of the cause of destruction, previous teachers have also said: "Because there is no cause, destruction is connected with its own nature." and so on, and others have also said that the establishment of momentary destruction is reasonable. This treatise is made to understand the power through the reason of existence, and to eliminate the faults in it. Now, other self-

In order to recognize that one does not accept the tenets accepted by externalists, and in order to shake the proponents of externalist tenets, one seeks opportunities, which is "if" and so on. Just as the reasoning that has already been explained, that non-momentary things cannot simultaneously be established as functional, similarly, the reasoning that will be explained is also momentary, having made such a vow, saying it is established is "like this." The seed is also momentary, relying on the cooperative conditions of fields and so on, it produces another momentary continuum similar to the sprout. Regarding this, if the seed does not rely on the distinctions produced by the cooperative conditions of fields and so on, but produces distinctions that are substantially the same as the sprout, then it would be the same for producing the sprout, because there is no distinction. If, like the sprout, it only relies on the distinctions produced by it, and produces the manifestation of it, then there would be no end. How so? If one admits that the seed, for all the results arising from its own immediate cause, must rely on the distinctions produced by the cooperative conditions of water and so on, then in order to produce the characteristic distinction of the final moment similar to the sprout, one must rely on the similar distinction that produces it, and in order to produce its distinction, one must also rely on its similar distinction, until the moment when the seed encounters water and so on arises, this distinction produced by the immediate cause of any abiding water and so on, must be thought to be relied upon, so there is no end. Regarding this, if one thinks that the distinctions produced by the cooperative conditions at the time of the seed's arising are transmitted, so there is no fault of having no end, then "arising" and so on are stated. How so? Regarding this, it is explained as "at the determined time." In order to avoid this fault, do not think so, that is the meaning. Because the time of the immediate cause of water and so on is different, some seeds reach the end of half a year, or some reach the end of a year, the sprout that arises at the determined time will always appear, it should be connected with the analysis below "in its own season." That is it.
