It is, because there is no clinging to certainty, it is not correct to say "This is also blue." Therefore, the object of certainty is clung to as the seen itself, and doubt is also merely calling the seen as the seen. However, doubt does not abide in a single nature, while the seen is merely abiding. The world also knows that doubt is not abiding, while the seen is abiding. Therefore, there is no difference between doubt that follows the action of seeing and the designation of appearing as completely certain. Precisely because of this, even if established with "reasons for confusion" etc., it is only said that superimposition is a harm to direct perception, not doubt. Any doubt that hesitates about the nature of things, such as with red water, doubting "Is it fire? Or is it a cluster of palasha flowers?" Thus, abandoning the part of the thing, like superimposition, is a harm to direct perception. Direct perception, non-direct perception, certainty, clinging, whatever exists, because it can be obtained, it itself is the obtainer, therefore it is a valid cognition. The statement "It is obtained from relation" is also the same, just as how inference is determined, that is also a relation, and how other knowledge is determined, that is unrelated to it, therefore it is not the obtainer, because here it does not rely on certainty, so wanting relation is unknowable. If it is the object of certainty, then certainty, discrimination, and certainty seeing, clinging is the completion of the action of valid cognition. If any thing is certain, then what is the undetermined thing that does not become the object of entry? What should be said about this question? What is certainty other than certain discrimination? And what is that? It is the thing that is uncertain about place, time, and form, and possesses contradictory qualities. Different place, time, and form are also the cause of making them different, because if it is not the cause of making them different, it will lead to many becoming one. It is not enough that only these are related to contradictory qualities, here in order to approximate the meaning, how much should be said?

That's all I'll say. In this, the object is the very thing that is seen. If it is related to another place, then it is not the object of valid cognition. For example, just as one ascertains a jewel through a crack in a door, just as one ascertains a jewel within a house. Here, is it perhaps merely the jewel itself that is ascertained? No, it is not the jewel that is ascertained, which possesses the distinctions of place, time, and form. Merely seeking the jewel itself is not for the sake of obtaining it. However, it comes from certainty, and certainty is that which has difference as its object, therefore, merely the husk is not for the sake of obtaining it. Desiring the fruit, what arises from that is entering into the great activity of accomplishing this matter. That is, the body and purity enter together, like the activity of knowledge that enters, and that which follows after speculation, by which is directly indicated the place, time, and form. It is regarded as one, the ultimate end of the object that is determined, desired to be obtained, created by the knowledge that enters, and fully revealed. The object of the object is other. That which is related to the matter at hand, knowing uncertainly what is connected to the action, although it is multiple, is nevertheless the object of a single entry. The object of a single entry is also the object of a single valid cognition. Knowing what is connected, that is uncertain. Sometimes it is the object of a single valid cognition, and sometimes it is the object of multiple valid cognitions. Among these, direct perception is the adherence to the connection of momentary differences without certainty, but not by different collections. Because, for the seen vase and so on, if one or more small accomplishments of all abilities are needed, then only the different connections of the vases and so on are known. And again, when the accomplishment of a single vase is needed, then one wants to take a single certainty only from the essential point of what is seen. The desire to take itself is only non-existent, and not other. Therefore, the desire to take with certainty is the certainty of connection, therefore, it is certain that the object of entry is different. The collection of inferences, acting through uncertain adherence, for example, from a house surrounded by four walls, and seeing smoke from within, inferring fire that is not non-fire.
