They consider the aspect of aggregation to be the cause of sensory cognition. They say, "Even atoms have the aspect of aggregation. Whatever little exists in atoms is real. Because it is real, the aspect of aggregation becomes the cause of cognition. Because of its grossness, cognition also bestows its own entity upon it. Therefore, they say that atoms are the objects of other modes." The word "ni" should be regarded as having the meaning of the word "also." The aspect of aggregation here refers to the gross aspect. "Proving" refers to the cause. Isn't the aspect of atoms known to be extremely subtle? Therefore, how could these have such an aspect of aggregation? Even if it is allowed to exist, how can one thing have two aspects? They mentioned "all things have multiple aspects" and so on. This is not a fault here, because all colored objects have multiple aspects. Like this, all colored objects are the nature of the four great elements, and these also have aspects such as blue, fragrance, sweetness, roughness, and so on, so they have multiple aspects. Similarly, just as atoms have multiple aspects, this aspect of aggregation will also exist in them. If all things have multiple aspects, why are they not cognized in all aspects? Therefore, they mentioned "through some aspects" and so on. Although these have multiple aspects, through some aspects they consider these to be manifest, but not in all aspects. Like this, because their powers are individually determined, the senses do not apprehend all things. This is said following the tenets of the monk Buddadeva, so that the twelve sources are merely the four great elements of earth, water, fire, and wind. Thus, after proving that they have multiple aspects, because it is combined with "ear" and "non," they mentioned "for atoms also" and so on. For atoms also, there exists the causal object that generates the cognition of the appearance of aggregation, the atoms

It means to generate knowledge with the aspect of aggregation. Since it is to establish that atoms have the aspect of aggregation, shouldn't it be said that atoms have the aspect of aggregation? Why is it said that atoms also have the cause of generating knowledge that appears as aggregation? Here it is said, in order to fully show the two parts of the object, it is said so. Among them, by saying "the object of the cause of generating knowledge", it shows by its own words that it is the cause itself. By saying "appearing as aggregation", it also establishes the establishment of the aspect and the possession of the aspect of aggregation itself. Because, in terms of meaning, for the consciousness with aspect, it establishes the aspect that it possesses itself, and it is not that it does not have it, therefore it can only be said to have the aspect of aggregation. If atoms have a coarse aspect, then how are they called atoms? How does one not hold that subtle aspect, but only approach it? Therefore, the aspect of atoms and so on are mentioned. In order to liberate that itself, it is said how hardness and so on, that is, how hardness, liquid, and warm objects, although they exist, but because the abilities of the senses are determined separately, they will not become the object of eye consciousness, similarly, atoms will not be the same either. Relying on that aspect itself, these are also given the name of atoms. The word "ni" should be regarded as meaning "itself". Thus, after placing the third chapter, like those refutations, bottles and bowls, etc., wisdom, etc. are mentioned. For those who admit that atoms have the aspect of aggregation, one should argue and examine, that is, what kind of aggregation aspect do they admit that atoms have? For the time being, in the world, bottles, bowls, cups, etc., as well as pillars and smells, etc., are called aggregations. Among these, what kind of aspect is thought to be possessed by atoms? If it is said to be the aspect of a bottle, then all aggregated bowls, etc. will generate the wisdom of a bottle. Or the bowl's

If it is thought in this way, then at that time, all will have the cognition of a bowl, and there will not be different cognitions such as some having the cognition of a vase and some having the cognition of a bowl. As it is said: Cognition arises following the nature of the object, and if the nature of the object is the same, how can there be different cognitions? To this, someone might think: A vase has many fine particles, and a bowl has very few, and similarly, it should be understood that other things also have more or less. Therefore, it is thought that this difference in cognition is caused by more or less. Therefore, the fine particles of vases and bowls, etc., are mentioned, and for this, the difference in cognition caused by less and more is not reasonable. For example, a vase has many fine particles, and a bowl has very few, but the form of the collection belonging to the fine particles has no difference of its own. Therefore, the fault lies there, where there are many fine particles, the vase is large, and where there are very few, the vase is small, it will only become like this, and from the same form of the collection, there will not be the cognition of a vase from many, and the cognition of a bowl from few. In order to explain that there is an opportunity for other words here, it is said, "If you distinguish by the difference of form." In order to explain this in detail, it is said, "If you think like this," etc., if you think like this, the neck of the vase looks upward, and it is also contracted, the belly is at the waist, and it is also wide, like this is the difference in its form. A bowl has a wide mouth and a contracted bottom, etc., which is the difference in form, therefore, through the difference in form, the cognitions of vases and bowls, etc., will become different. From the difference in form, form refers to shape, which is synonymous with arrangement and position. In order to explain that the difference in form is not an object, it is said, "This difference exists in vases, etc.,"
