When it is necessary to combine sounds definitively, there is not a single word that contradicts it. It is intended that for a collection, it is "of one." Considering what a collection itself can do, "the power of being together" and so on are mentioned. It is the very being together that makes forms and so on the function of things like cloud holders, which is a unified action, not a separate one. Likewise, the state of having whatever kind of power is such that it is very apparent that it is by the gathering of different things into one. When one thing becomes a collection, or when the words of a collection become "a pot of one," and so on, there is no contradiction. If it is said that the sound of a genus is also like the sound of a tree and so on, it is true. If it is the sound of a genus that depends on other exclusions, then that which depends on the aggregation of forms and so on is the sound of aggregation. Even so, some are the sound of a genus, such as pleasure and so on. Some are the sound of aggregation, such as "man." Some are both, such as tree and so on. To show the different expressions of the sound of a genus, "the meaning of the sound of a genus" and so on are mentioned. The sound of a genus is the sound of a tree and so on. Its meaning is sometimes the power of being together, and sometimes it is separate. Those that are various and together are powers, therefore they are the powers of various things. For many things, use the word "many," and for one thing, use the word "one." If you want to express the power of one thing, say "a tree of one word." If someone says that this is done following the wishes of the definers, some will say that those are definite and so on. You make the determination of causes in that way because you want to use the word "many" for many things and the word "one" for one thing, so their thoughts are explained. Then, what is yours like? We say "those meanings that are conventionally established" and so on, our sound and meaning are not always related, but they are conventional. Therefore, by thoroughly contemplating through intention, by indicating convention, there is great attachment to manifestation in the terminology of sound.

The refutation of doubts from others' viewpoints is: Having mentioned "sound of various forms, etc.," the various forms, etc., are not the meaning of a single sound. Because others do not have the power, it will not become an expression of a single sound, which is the former view. Here, the proponent of the established conclusion says: Having mentioned "whether it does not depend on the actions of a person," etc., whether it is without depending on the wishes of a person that sound is attributed to things? Or, do those who strive for the benefit of people combine without determining the terms of sound? If it is said to be one's own ability, then whether it has the ability to fully arouse, etc., whenever the thing itself is able to attribute sound, then one should separately examine their ability and inability. If there is any fault in arousing oneself? If it is said that it is not reasonable, then having said "if it is said that it is not reasonable," etc., whenever a thing arouses sound by its own power, then even if it is not what a person wants to express, the sound that exists in the thing will arise from the opening of the mouth. In order to explain the connection with people, having said "when people closely combine them," etc., whenever people determine to combine, then how to determine the combination according to their wishes, just like expressing many things with one word "vase." If it cannot be expressed with a single endpoint, then what will it point to? If they change in that way, then what is the necessity of expression? Having said "reason determines combination," etc., after explaining the necessity of the definite combination of sounds in that way, when one or more things appear as one action, then use one word, and when performing actions separately, use multiple words to express multiple things. Furthermore, the explanation of the close accumulation of causes is: Having said "if forms, etc.," etc., whenever it is not the time, when forms, etc., are associated with one sound, then, relying on one, what is there to examine by relying on? Therefore, through association with parts is
