It is said, "The nature of clay," and so on. Some people think that the nature of the clay of a pot is also different, but it is not clearly expressed. Who can understand, "This is a pot, and it is also clay"? It is said, "This pot is produced from clay." If this is the case, if the difference is not clearly expressed, then how can one understand the support and the supported? If one says support and the supported, etc., then no matter how many supports and supported are not understood, it is not possible to understand how many this and this are possible. That which completely transcends from it is permanent, so it is the support. Wherever it exists, that which relies on it is the supported. Others show the self-nature with the characteristic of non-difference is: It is said, "The nature of ability and capability," and so on. When one wants to regard the nature of anything that arises as different, if one wants to think that the object arising from the nature of ability and capability is not itself, and is not different from its own nature, then the nature of ability and capability will increase, but not from itself, nor from its non-different nature. Therefore, because it is not different from this self-nature, this characteristic is non-different. It is said, "They are," etc., meaning that this is through negating the non-different characteristic of others. Further connection is, whatever can be fully understood, whatever fully becomes what, from that and that, etc. Whatever, meaning that some people say here, whatever fully becomes what, from that and that non-different, this non-different characteristic should also be clearly understood. If one asks how to understand, it is said, "The nature of ability," etc., it should be added that for what reason, the nature of ability is not fully become. The author asks about the fully become self-nature, the fully become is, it is said what is, etc., this is easy to understand. Others show its self-nature is, it is said, "The state of matter," etc., one dharma of the state of matter disappears, and another dharma increases is

It is said to be the word for complete transformation. The proponents of established tenets say, having stated "What other dharma is there?" and so on. If this is what any dharma transforms and increases, then for that reason, is it other than the state of the general substance? It is not both, because it is impossible to be completely different. For others as well, the same refutation and examination apply here. If there is another state, what fault is there? If it abides in itself, etc., if the dharma of the substance is not different, then the transformation and increase of the state of the substance are not reasonable. That the dharma of the substance is not different is not established. What is the reason? Having stated "It itself does not depend," etc., if it does not depend on other subjects and objects, then it will not rely on difference. What is dependent is, for example, the production of sound, etc., just like the state that depends on transformation from non-production, etc. Pointing out the fault of another commitment is: or having stated "Something other than substance," etc., when it is a dharma different from substance, then it is not established that all the changes of the transformation and arising of dharma are complete. What is the reason? Having stated "Becoming something else," etc., if one wants to regard the transformation and increase that has become another state as a complete transformation of another state, then one should also want the complete transformation of sentient beings. Furthermore, having stated "The dharma of substance," etc., this is easy to understand. Why is it not established? Having stated "Because there is no connection," etc., there is no connection with some reasons such as that kind of sound, etc. If it changes like that, then the connection of the characteristics of support and supported does not exist, if it is said like that, then having stated "The connection of cause and effect," etc., there is nothing other than the explanation of the connection of the characteristics of cause and effect, because the connection is unreasonable. If it is like that, then having stated "For this also," etc., the object of cause and effect is also unreasonable for this.

No. What is the reason? Because it is said that 'oneself is not its own nature' and so on. Because whatever is not the nature of something is not its cause, this is your tenet. If that is the case, then what is known as the nature of yogurt is the cause of milk becoming yogurt, but cow dung, etc., which has the nature of yogurt, is not the cause. In terms of substance, how can those dharmas that are different in meaning become things of cause and effect? If you think so, then for other things too, it will become cause and effect, if you say so, even if the meanings are different, it is said 'even if the meanings are different' and so on. When it is thought that other things are also the substance of other dharmas, then at that time the dharma will arise, and it must be admitted that the substance has completely transformed. I also think so, if it is said that this is exactly what I want to show, then for this also it is said 'cause and effect' and so on. Even so, for example, when the substance of earth exists in relation as cause and effect, the substance of the previous clod of earth is the cause.
