Therefore, the imputed names established by conceptual thought belong to the same category. Ultimately, sound has no object. Manifest things follow the meaning of consciousness, because they are the objects of expression. As it is said in the sutra: "By what name, is what dharma spoken? The dharmas together with the possessor of dharma, that and that are not." Therefore, the meaning summarized here is that form and so on, and a pot, are neither many nor one in their respective categories. It is not possible to express many things with one word, such as stars and the moon, which seems like a speculation. The assertion of others that the objects of sound such as pots are of the same meaning should be refuted. The nature of atoms of form and taste is not like that, because they each have independent natures. Just like sesame seeds, when gathered together, they will inevitably change, so they cannot be fully manifested. If it is admitted, then for things without senses, "soundless atoms are eight substances, those with body senses are nine substances, and for other senses, there are ten substances." Thus it is said. Therefore, the ultimate state of atoms is perceived by the senses and is impermanent. Furthermore, we have explained this in detail. If it is said that these can be expressed with multiple words or one word, that is a mistake. For example, when women, rivers, sand, and matter itself are considered the same, but are expressed with different words such as wife, river, and sand, how can this become multiple words? If it is said that it is because the abilities are different, then now it is not possible to express the nature of all things with one word. If it is said that things that are not different can be expressed with one word, even if this is acceptable, but if there are no things here, then what is the necessity? This is just using language according to one's own wishes. Therefore, by associating clear things with women of the same kind, it can be applied to the number of clear parts, etc., as a young child would say.

Moreover, that reason is also very clear. How can the so-called "six cities" be transformed from many into a single word? If the city itself does not exist at all, then what is there to speak of? Because houses and people, etc., are of different kinds, they do not constitute, so how can they become a collection of matter? Because there is no possessing, it is only the name of possessing, because houses, etc., do not possess each other. The house itself possesses, so it does not possess other merits. Precisely because of this, there is also no number. If it is said that because it possesses it, there exists the characteristic of having a person, then would the characteristics that have no characteristics also become existence? Because it is not one house, nor is it many houses, therefore the sound of many cannot be spoken. If it is said that they help each other, then how can what does not help appear together? Because the existence of possessing a person is many, how can the so-called city be transformed into a single word? If it is said that becoming like that is somehow due to different abilities, then it is not so, because from the nature of things, abilities are different. Being different and not helping each other is because it does not depend on others. For the ability to help each other, it is also different because the ability to help each other is different. There is no end to the reasons that need to be understood. If that is not different, then there will also be faults for the first one, so it is nothing. This way, there are also other examples that have been mentioned, and the word "also" has been said. Is it that the example of the fifth side is close to being shown? The answer is: Just like what was said, "Because what is made is impermanent." Whatever has the proof and the concomitance, and says there is and there is not, is an example with the fifth side, which is the nature of the proof approaching union. Some are substances such as vases. The forms, etc., that are truly understood are different, meaning there is and there is not. All kinds of contradictory cities, etc., in general, the six cities, etc., are all conceptual fabrications. For that, in order to combine the famous sound, it closely shows the mutual
