Like that, therefore, things are impermanent because they exist. Like cause and effect, general and specific, because things, qualities, and actions have no difference, so with great effort to say existence and so on, there is no difference. Existence and so on, even in the knowable object that has no difference as object and non-object, although there is no certain difference of dharma, but in order to accomplish various consequences, as a reason to doubt benefit, it is stated accordingly, because it is not other uncomprehending statements and so on. Here, because stating accomplishment and so on, the reason for hindering the ability to understand others is the incidental thing that needs to be fully received, and should be combined with what is called "what is it". If someone asks: What kind of example should be given for saying no-self? Answer: For what, refuting the collection of faults of things and so on, and the discipline of the Sugata's dharma of accomplishment also eliminates the banner of pride of saying self, such as the nature of no remainder, therefore, it is an incidental thing that shows songs and dances and so on. For this, others and others, needless to say. So, we are what the Buddha said, if so, how to state the refutation with differences, until when? It will become that we Buddhas say this, like saying no-self. For the many, it is not that it is not possible to express with many words. If someone asks: Why say it? Answer: It is like this, because of what, these own sects are only others, because they depend on others, so it is not like that to combine many sounds. Because wanting to refute like this, so it is an example, not for others, because of saying. Or, because of saying foolishly, obviously weak, so it is precisely saying this. Even so, the treatise of sound will become a meaningless display, therefore, like other great charioteers, King you, we are the mentors who rely on the retinue, boasting of wisdom, saying this. The excellent wise man is...

How can one laugh, being endowed with the wisdom of a mother? The word "Alas" needs to be supplemented here. Elaborately explaining the twelve characteristics of valid cognition (pramāṇa) is from the treatise of the Vaiśeṣika school, and it also shows the tenets of the Vaiśeṣikas. There, first, having closely stated the assertion of permanence, that is, the assertion that includes either sound or a pot as the basis of the very thing, one answers with words including the twelve characteristics. For a while, if one states one characteristic of valid cognition for a long time, then the understanding of the dharma of the characteristic is to be entered into. By the word "entering," even if the meaning of what has come, what will come, what is subtle, what is interrupted, and the eon is revealed, the senses cannot understand even a little. Like this, what is born from the senses of a person related to existence is manifest, because what is to be known without a cause is the object. If the nature of the suffering of formations is not established, then the nature of not understanding is also not established, because a moment is not reasonable for what has not arisen dependently. If so, then should it be said as another dharma similar to that? Even so, it is said, "Even if the dharma of the thing has not been spoken," etc., because that kind of aspect is included within the dharma to be established, therefore the opponent wants to know, because it is different from the reason and example other than the assertion. When will these unstated limbs of proof become the place of refutation as stated before? It is said: The opponent does not state the limbs of establishing the thing, and whichever of the answers, neither will become victorious or defeated. Why? Because the establisher is not stated, the opponent has no victory; or, because the respondent has not understood that thing, there is also no defeat, because that depends on the establishment. Therefore, for the opponent, there are also none of those that do not exist. Now, to show the place of refutation for the respondent, it is said, "The opponent does not state the fault," etc., for those who want to know from the object. For those who do not want to know,
