Regarding the assertion that different fingers arise from their own nature, this is also a type of reasoning for both negation and affirmation. The reason lies in observing contradictory causes and not observing causes. If it is merely substance, then actions and so on are other. Because it cannot be described as being both the same and different, saying so is the meaning of language. Even if the teacher has said it, this is not reasonable. If asked how it is not reasonable, the answer is: the very entity of existence does not have another aspect that is separate from being the same and different. Whatever is perceived as an entity is to show the fabricated additions of conceptualization, such as excluding others. Why? Because "these" and so on have been mentioned. Correct combinations are mutually exclusive; if there is no abandoning one state and accepting another, it will not occur; and if there is no accepting one state and abandoning another, it will not occur. For example, it is like things and non-things. The aspects of being the same or different also possess the qualities described earlier, which is the reasoning of self-nature. There is no other aspect of difference from the fingers to the fist itself. The fingers themselves are not the fist, because the extension itself is not the fist. If it is said that the meaning is not other, because the nature is extremely imperceptible, then "the fingers" and so on are mentioned, connecting it to "whatever ceases in each moment is not existent." The meaning is that because it is momentary, things possessing such forms of arising and ceasing will be referred to as fists and so on. Therefore, this is also not valid for this entity, because the fist is a particular form of the fingers. Although this has been said, the intention is to explain the situation more clearly. If it were not so, what would this accomplish? If that is the case, then how are the sounds of "fist" and "finger" different? The answer is: for the sounds of "fist" and so on, they are objects with specific characteristics, because they are used to describe the specific state of the fingers. The sound of "finger" is an object with general characteristics, because the sound of "finger" is an object, because it is referred to as such in all states. Two examples are explained in sequence: the seed and the sprout.

It is like the sound of "etc." and the sound of "seeds" etc. Like this, either completely distinguishing other aspects, or wanting to overcome all the closely arranged other parts, so approaching and arranging debate through other doors is like "if" etc. The thought here is this: for example, if there is no oil in sesame, then sesame will also become like that. If the fruit arises from the cause of circumstances, then at that time oil will also arise from sesame. Because there is none, it is not sesame either, for the same reason, like oil. Just as some things do not exist, because there is no difference, this is called the nature of the reason, and distinguishing, non-manifestation, and wanting to manifestly want to pervade, the things to be pervaded, are the forms of accomplishment. Therefore, thinking that all these are to hide one's own actions, you are the actors, isn't it that all things exist in all things, and is it not the same fault? Isn't it that some things have no difference? The combination is "for the sake of action," the action is like yourselves. The reason has been reversed and used. However, because some things also have no difference. Therefore, even if it exists, all things will not arise from all things. Therefore, if someone doubts reversing the inconsistent aspects from the valid means, then the answer is: if a difference is to be made, then especially, it will be different from the three qualities of dust, darkness, and courage (Sanskrit Devanagari: गुण, Sanskrit Romanization: guṇa, Chinese literal meaning: गुण). Why? Even if the three qualities (Sanskrit Devanagari: गुण, Sanskrit Romanization: guṇa, Chinese literal meaning: गुण) already exist, there is no cause that follows the difference. The combination is: whatever exists, does not follow what exists, is very different from that, for example, from sound, form, smell, and taste, it is sentient. The things of the three qualities (Sanskrit Devanagari: गुण, Sanskrit Romanization: guṇa, Chinese literal meaning: गुण) also do not follow the difference, this is called the nature of the reason. After stating the things that should be admitted, now thinking that saying the fruit exists, the meaning of birth itself is also unreasonable. Having said "existence itself" etc., that result that wants to manifestly want is not unborn, but exists, because it exists. The four states of accomplishment.
