Thus it is. Explaining "not its own nature" and so on, it becomes a term for existence, because it is the direct apprehension of things. The non-existent thing that is the opposite of this is the term for non-existence, and the so-called "although there are other conditions for the object" is the fruit of the complete utterance. Otherwise, doubt will arise. The statement that "if other conditions for the existence of a thing are complete, it will not be reversed" has been previously explained by us. Therefore, such a manifestation of mind is something that you, I, and he all agree on, and even so, I have not said anything that I disagree with. If it is not so, then it will become a mistake, as it is said. To explain that mistake, it is said, "It is not an object of direct perception," and so on. What arises from a sign is what arises from a sign, which is the meaning of what is called inference. It makes it a term for existence, which is the meaning of being hidden. It is not only that, but it is also said that "because the nature just mentioned is also what one should hold onto." If all signs can make it exist? No, it is said, "Some." It means that it arises from the power of the two signs of nature and effect. It is considered that non-apprehension is for establishing the term of non-existence. If that is the case, how would that become a mistake? It is said, "The term of non-existence," and so on, and the opposite of that is, in contrast to the wisdom that does not arise from the sign as previously stated, it is uncertain. Why? Because the meaning of the end of the kalpa, the aggregates, etc., the direct प्रमाण (pramāṇa,量, प्रमाण ,pramāṇa,量) of knowing the end of the kalpa being reversed is also a cause of doubt. The so-called "for the meaning of non-existence" is the remainder. The so-called "the direct perception of the knower" is the sixth. If the direct perception that abandons the establishment of all knowable things is reversed, then it can be said without hesitation. The others are inference and scripture. The statement to be understood by this scriptural प्रमाण (pramāṇa,量, प्रमाण ,pramāṇa,量) is not a प्रमाण (pramāṇa,量, प्रमाण ,pramāṇa,量), because if there is no, it will not arise. Sound and things cannot simultaneously accomplish meaning, because that and that are the speaker
