All those disputes arising from excellent insights, those disputants whose understanding is inferior to the intention of the scriptures, should be clearly recognized through the scriptures themselves. It is permissible to insist that it is not established. Therefore, this statement is established: the establishment of the name of non-existence through the non-perception of what is capable of being perceived. Because it is that, it arises from that. If one explains non-perception from what is capable of being perceived and infers it in another way, doubt will arise. If the establishment of the name of non-existence relies solely on the sign of non-perception, and other factors are also acknowledged, then doubt will arise from that, and therefore there is no certainty in establishing the name of non-existence. Even if the object is reversed, it will not be accomplished without meaning; this is a summarizing meaning. Or, it could be said that because of the non-perception of phenomena, as a sign of other reality, doubt is near. The mention of "that" is because it relies on the former. Or, it could be said that something other than what is capable of being perceived is a sign that causes doubt. Here, how is the pervasiveness of non-perception? The mention of "here also" and so on. The way it is refers to the non-perception of what is capable of appearing. The mention of "all" is to show the pervasiveness by summarizing all. If, for some things, such as a rabbit's head, a horn becomes an object of what is capable of being perceived, but becomes the domain of a name of non-existence, then what certainty is there that other general and particular, limb-possessing and substance-possessing distinctions, etc., will also be in the same way? The mention of "some" and so on. Acknowledging the non-perception of rabbit horns, etc., in some things capable of being perceived as the domain of the name of non-existence is because the domains of the name of non-existence, etc., are non-existent, because they have no difference in nature. Its nature of non-existence is the non-perception spoken of earlier. The mention of nature is because it is the cause and establisher, because it is non-different from that. General and particular, limb-possessing, substance, etc., are superfluous words. This is to show that rabbit horns, etc.
