Since ignorance itself exists, therefore, by its power, all knowledge will become meaningless, please think so! If so, what merit will be obtained? If so, it is said "speaking of other meanings" etc. Speaking of other meanings is speaking of other meanings. Speaking of other meanings itself will be lost, therefore speaking of other meanings will be lost and become unpleasant, because it will be lost from the virtuous dharmas of this (referring to speaking of other meanings). For the person who speaks of other meanings, if there exists a characteristic that cannot be hidden by the many flaws of faults, then this is one that cannot be hidden by many faults. For the one who has great difficulties, that is the one who has great difficulties. The so-called "with one accusation" is with one accusation. Will surely be destroyed, that is, will be eliminated. The inability to hide flaws itself is because once an accusation is made, other faults will arise. Precisely because of this, this (referring to speaking of other meanings) is one with great difficulties. Here it is said that when one admits that all knowledge is meaningless because it is deluded by ignorance, this person who speaks of other meanings, cannot hide many flaws, and has great difficulties, will be revealed once an accusation is made. Therefore, in order to fully accomplish the establishment of other continuums, if one wants to completely abandon the remnants of bad debates, one should welcome the doubts of other schools. After seeing those gestures, from the aspects of body and speech appearances etc., the word "gesture" is to show impatience. From the appearances of body and speech, shouldn't one infer the minds that cause them? If from that (referring to the mind) one thinks that this (referring to the appearance) is also the same, therefore, it is said "related to other continuums" etc. You think that those knowledges that are related to the listener's continuum and appear as appearances can perceive shaking, then how will they become the speaker's appearances? Continuum here refers to the listener's continuum. Relative to it, the word "other" is used to completely refer to the speaker. Why is it not appropriate? Because those are close to accepting and close to accepting.

It is said, "Because it does not arise from what is not a listener." The appearances of consciousness that are related to the listener's continuum are what the speaker intends to express, and are taken together, and the phenomena arising from taking together It is said, "Because it does not arise from what is not a listener." The appearances of consciousness that are related to the listener's continuum are what the speaker intends to express, and are taken together, and the phenomena arising from taking together do not exist, because they belong to different continua. Thinking in this way is the former position. Here, the proponent of the established conclusion says, "Because it is the very nature of the manifestation of consciousness induced by the mind of another, the consciousness that appears therein understands the mind that induces it." They do not say such things, etc. "Induced by the mind of another" means induced by the mind of another. This is both induced by the mind of another and is a manifestation of consciousness, so it is a manifestation of consciousness induced by the mind of another. The consciousness that appears therein, whatever has its nature, is called that. Its nature is its very nature, because it is the very nature of the manifestation of consciousness induced by the mind of another. Because there is a manifestation of consciousness appearing in this, this is what appears therein. Thus, we do not accept that because the consciousness that appears therein is the very nature of the manifestation of consciousness induced by the mind of another, we understand the very nature of the manifestation of consciousness that induces it. If we do not accept it, then what do we accept? Therefore, it is said, "Then what? Because it is its result." Because the consciousness that appears as a manifestation of consciousness is the result of the mind of another, it understands the mind of another. Here, the mind of another is considered to be the mind of the speaker. If the consciousness in the form of actions and words arising from the listener's continuum is not considered a manifestation of consciousness, then what other manifestation of consciousness is there? Therefore, it is said, "Manifestations of consciousness, etc.," whatever arises from the continuum of the mind that induces the consciousness in the form of actions and words
