In order to make the other party admit that the awareness that appears as action itself is the sign. Furthermore, if it is said, "That action," etc., then, does merely the existence of this action allow one to know the minds of others, or is it through knowing? For the moment, if it is merely through existence, then at that time, even beings who have not perceived the action would be able to know the minds of others. To address the doubts of the opponent's system, if it is said that it is not possible to know because it depends on the "sign," then it is said, "If the sign," etc., the sign is not something that is known merely by its existence. What then? It is through knowing that it is known, therefore there is no fault here. The proponent of the established conclusion said, regarding this, it is said, "At that time," etc., if it is thought that it is through relying on the sign that it is known, alas, then this path is not needed at all. In order to indicate that very path, it is said, "From the minds of others, action arises," etc., the path is that from the minds of others, action arises. From action, awareness arises. From awareness, that is known, that is how it is. What kind of reasoning is it then? It is said, "The awareness that appears as action, the nature of being completely born from the minds of others alone," etc. Please consider that the awareness that appears as action, the nature of being completely born from the minds of others alone, is what allows one to know. For this, the statement should be structured as follows: because it has the nature of being completely born from the minds of others. Whether it is action or the awareness that appears as action, what difference is there? Therefore, it is said, "Ultimately knowing that," etc., because even if action is acknowledged, knowing the minds of others depends solely on the awareness that appears as action, therefore it is that very awareness, what is the use of fully examining action? Having refuted the opponent in this way, in order to state the reasoning of one's own system, it is said, "Merely moving in general is the generality of action and speech awareness," etc., the generality of action and speech awareness is the generality of action and speech awareness. It is thought that its cause is merely moving, without difference. Therefore, the generality of awareness that appears as action, the generality of merely moving.

Because it is thought that it can produce results, it is said that the cause is understood through the result. In order to understand this, the word "general" here, is used by the sound of "general" to distinguish the difference between what has been cut off and what appears to be cut off. The word "merely moving" here, is used by the sound of "merely" to distinguish the moving with the difference caused by desire and so on. Thus, in order to generally show the nature of cause and effect, and then show the difference of the effect. Therefore, it is said "having the cause of self-movement" and so on. Any knowledge aroused by self-movement appears to be looking inward. What is aroused by the movement of others appears to be looking outward. The sound of "mouth" here refers to the object of focus. The so-called "in most cases" refers to indicating shooting arrows and so on, and the movement done by others and so on. To this, some may think, when not asleep, the nature of cause and effect exists, then how should it be understood in the dream state? Therefore, it is said "the nature of these causes and effects" and so on. The nature of cause and effect that has just been shown is the same when not asleep and when asleep. Saying "etc." includes the state of being disturbed by desire and sorrow, etc. Isn't it true that there is no movement that arises in dreams? How can it be said that the nature of cause and effect is the same? Therefore, it is said "in the state of confusion" and so on. In the state of confusion is the state of being disturbed by sleep and so on. The so-called "as it is" is the difference between dream and sleep. Hell and so on, includes the state of the maturation of karma. The difference of conditions is sleep and so on. Close reliance is close reliance. The difference of conditions close reliance is the close reliance on the difference of conditions, which is the meaning of the word "the difference of conditions close reliance." The movement of others is the movement that corresponds to the mind of others. Saying "etc." includes the complexion.
