Then it will become without a cause. If there is no cause, then isn't it that the place, time, and nature cannot be determined? If asked like that, then the word "that" is spoken, the so-called "destruction," that is, from something other than that which has the nature of destruction, its nature will not change. However, only the movement of the thing itself is destruction, and also because there is no self-nature, it is not appropriate to have a cause. That is not its only one, not itself, therefore there is no arising, how can it be understood to have a cause? The proponent of the established conclusion answers, saying the word "this." It has already been said that it will not go beyond two distinctions. If asked what these two distinctions are like, then it is said "Is it a distinction of the thing itself?" and so on. If it is thought that because it is admitted to be a dharma existing at another time, there is no opportunity to distinguish permanence, then it is not so. Even if that is admitted, it will become an admission of permanence itself. If that is the case, when this dharma is at another time, produced by its own causes, at that time, when one year is complete, it is the nature of the dharma existing in the year of the future time. Because the end of this existing in the year is also that, therefore, the end of existing in another year also completely abandons the nature of the dharma that initially existed in the year, then it will become existing in another year. Even if it is admitted to be a dharma existing at another time, it will become an admission of permanence, therefore it is difficult to abandon the distinction of permanence. If it is admitted that from the vicinity of the cause of destruction, oneself will disappear, then it is the distinction of impermanence and the distinction of the nature of destruction, if that is the case, near the cause that manifestly wants to destroy, the nature of oneself being destroyed, and the nature of existence are the same, therefore, merely at the moment of arising, it will become destruction, then how can there be the nature of a dharma existing at another time? If it is investigated in that way, because the later distinction is admitted, in order to abandon this existing at another time, then permanence should be admitted here.

will be said. Furthermore, it is said that for the very thing that is later understood, it will later be said to be the impermanent, destructive nature, and in this way there will be two ways of saying it. It is also said that this is relative to the later. If it becomes two, what will it be like? Just as the natures of permanence and impermanence are different, this earlier nature of permanence will be thought to be permanent, and saying that it will later be destroyed refers to the destruction of each moment in all times. If it is not like this, the reason stated earlier cannot be destroyed later. Or, if each moment does not perish, then it is also unreasonable later, because it has been thoroughly said that everything will not perish, so for the nature that was previously thought to be permanent, the cause of destruction, the unimpeded ability, will not do anything. If the cause of destruction itself has no ability, others will not admit it, but considering the contradiction and proximity, they admit that they will be destroyed, then it will become that destruction itself is not the reason. If it is not like this, saying that it does not do anything at all is relative to the characteristic of having a cause. If it is only one's own cause, this is a fault, because even if it does not do anything at all, it is destruction relative to it. Again, what is the use for those who are attached to non-abiding dharmas? Because for those who enter in that way, relying on help itself is beautiful if it can be combined with one's own cause. If it is not like this, one will not respectfully combine with the nature of the fruit either. How can it be a contradiction if one does not do anything at all? If one thinks that there is no contradiction in this, because there is no difference, then what is this? For example, other people who speak of moments, for a pot, relative to a hammer etc., even if they do not do anything at all, but if they turn around, we are also objects that exist at other times. This is also a statement that does not understand other tenets, because the reason why we say constant is not because there is something different from the moment, but because the hammer etc. are close, so it does not act on turning around at all. Only a moment...
