What has already occurred cannot be changed; it did not arise from a cause. When saying this, one speaks of refuting things, etc. The intention here is that when a thing is merely not dependent on the assembly of other things, it is the destruction of the nature of being nothing at all. At that time, there is no action of an agent for it; if there were, then only the dharma nature would have it. If it is claimed that it also arises from what has not arisen, then there is no contradiction in the result itself. That is not the case, because when the arising obtains the nature of being in the dharma nature, the non-existence of things is destroyed. Why? Because what is called arising is said to exist, and it is not the reason why the word 'exists' is also applied to sprouts, etc. If it is said that it is capable of performing a function, then how can something that is empty of all abilities become an object of knowledge? What is not a cause is not an object, so it becomes too extreme, or if it is not an object, then how is it realized to have a cause? By what is a thing spoken of? If one thinks that the nature of being nothing at all is the only thing, how can it generate knowledge, and how are those things not related? If there is no object of knowledge, how can it exist? How is this also a result? If it is said that it exists from having its own cause, then in that case, what exists in the result is the object of knowledge. In this way, if it is known that it arises from having its own cause, then it is also known that it exists. Why? Because what is said to exist and what is said to be possessed by the wise are names for the words 'exists,' 'is,' 'is present,' and 'possesses,' but in the ultimate sense, there is no difference in meaning. If it is said that the nature of non-existence is what arises, then that is not the case, because it is contradictory. Why? Because if it is said that what has not arisen is non-existent, then how can it be shown that it has arisen? If it is said that it is not existent because it appears separately to the self of knowledge, abiding in some nature, then the extremely hidden eyes, etc., would become non-existent. If it is said that it is not so because they appear as the nature of the cause of knowledge, then how is this, which also appears as the nature of causing to arise, and which is devoid of all things, related to arising? It becomes manifest by a slight nature.

Because it is knowledge and wisdom, it also appears as the nature of the cause, and it is not a cause because it is impossible to be an object. We are also, the consciousness of non-things arises after the complete maturation of one's own habits, so it is itself without an object. When causing non-things to arise, how can it be said that non-affirming negation and affirming negation are different? If it is said that it is different from non-affirming negation because it does not act as its nature, that is not correct, because the nature of non-existence is not contradictory to arising. The so-called "arisen" is not deceptive to the existence that has already arisen, so how can non-affirming negation be performed in the manner of the nature of existence? It itself will become the meaning of negation, because at all times, establishment is the main thing. When that is the case, if there are slight aspects that are contrary, then it is different from non-it, so it should be known that it is contrary to it. Moreover, non-existence is said to be contrary to everything, and the thing itself is produced by something, if it is said that it is focused on the thing like that, then those differences will be gone. If there is no difference, then it is not non-affirming negation, and it will also become expressing non-time, because when things are contrary, other things of non-self-nature will be expressed. It is not non-self-nature by its own nature, because if it is non-existent by its own nature, then it will contradict the result itself. If it is by the nature of others, then all things will become non-self-nature, because there is no difference between a pot and some things. Or, if it is allowed to be, then this non-existence arises from fire and so on, why not approach wood and so on? Like this, because the meaning is established by the action of fire and so on as others, so because firewood and so on are not contrary, it will approach and focus like before. If it is said that destruction arises from it approaching and destroying, then how does it approach and destroy? For the time being, destruction is not non-existent, because when firewood exists, it is non-existent. It is not fire and so on that cause it to be destroyed, because it has been promised that they are acting in an unmanifest state. When destroying, it is not the non-existence of destruction, because it will become simultaneous with the decay of firewood and so on, so destruction and annihilation
