It cannot be understood, because the argument previously made by the proponent is "sound is impermanent, because it is created." If one understands that there is such a reason, then "because it is created, it is permanent" is contradictory. "It arises from effort, because it is created" is uncertain. The sign of the three-aspect reasoning cannot be understood, because it depends on what is to be proven. The words of the proposition are because of generalizing the parts. The subject of the dharma to be proven is called "paksha" (side), and the "createdness" that exists in it is the dharma of the paksha. The dharma to be proven is the general meaning, which is the "paksha." Entering into it, existing in the similar side and not existing in the dissimilar side, the so-called similar side, abandoning the dharma to be proven is not entering. If there is doubt as to whether it is understood as not existing in the dissimilar side, then "if" is said. If the characteristic of the dharma to be proven is determined, and the arguments of the dharma-similar class, etc., are other than the nature of grasping one's own essence, then there are no words of proposition. That is unreasonable, in order for what is to be proven to be established, if in order to know the arguments of the dharma-similar class, etc., the nearby object is to be indicated, then all of this will become good. As long as one is making inferences for oneself, even if there are no words of proposition, one can still understand the characteristic of what is to be proven being established by holding the dharma of the paksha and remembering the connection, as it is said, it is the same for inferences for the sake of others. Because of that, saying the argument of the proposition refers to when one understands what is to be proven, one determines the object by understanding what is to be proven oneself. If someone determines the object through the words of the proposition, even if one does not have it, one can understand, then the certainty of what is to be proven is only the power of the sign. What we understand is what we seek, and what is seen is what is excluded. The characteristic of the argument of the proposition, is it like the Brahmin of the seasonal festival searching for what has already been found? For example, whether it exists or not, in the homes of others, Brahmins for the sake of the seasonal festival, others for the sake of faith, etc.

When taking care, saying to the faithful, 'If you fill it with ghee and offer it separately, then I will eat, otherwise I will not,' this is the same for you as well. Furthermore, if it is said that when inferring the meaning of others, if other reasons are not stated, there will be no understanding, if it is declared like this, then when is it needed? If this opponent merely says that the reason is also certain, and following it, the thing to be proven will be understood, and it is for the sake of others' understanding, then I can also abandon the statement of the reason, why not combine it with the vow? Our words are the measure of understanding, because the thing to be inferred is established through statement, so it is not there. Because it is not only our words, when inferring one's own meaning, we do not state. However, when our statement intervenes, even if the reason cannot be understood from our words, then how can the thing to be proven be followed from it alone? However, when from some measure, that reason itself is established here, we merely generate remembrance, At that time, following the establishment of the reason itself, the thing to be proven can be understood, not through words. Therefore, whether the vow is stated or not, there is no difference between these two situations, because merely the power of the establishment of the reason itself can understand the thing to be proven, so it is nothing. Therefore, the inference of one's own and others' meaning, following the reason itself, can understand the thing to be proven, because there is no difference in understanding the thing to be proven, so in inferring others, the vow itself is meaningless, even if the reason is temporarily not stated here. If that is not through remembering the previously established itself, then why hesitate to acknowledge stating the vow of the meaning to be explained? If for the establishment of the thing to be proven, not stating the vow is unnecessary, then for that meaning, this is not a combination, but a combination that conforms to the Dharma.

In order to understand "existence" and so on, it is necessary to abide in stating it. If it is like that, because there is no understanding, if one thinks like this, then state "there is no need to establish a thesis," because even without stating a thesis, one can see the understanding of the combination of similar dharmas and so on. Therefore, it is not beautiful to closely establish a thesis for that meaning. If even the combination of similar dharmas and so on are not present, how can one understand the display of what is to be proven? State "merely stating the property of the subject" and so on, this is thinking like this: merely stating "whatever is made is impermanent" is not sufficient, because only those that are in a neutral state and those whose actions are incomplete are beneficial. However, it is necessary to bring the reason closer to the subject of the argument. Among them, when stating "sound is also made," can one understand the similar combination? Or, when stating the examination, can one understand the dissimilar? By stating the relationship, before stating the property of the subject, one can understand both combinations. Merely by stating the property of the subject, one can also understand the contradictory and the uncertain. When stating the relationship, how can one not understand? If so, the statement "whatever is made is impermanent," when stating the property of the subject, for explaining the relationship, understanding it as the reason, is pervaded by the subsequent pervasion of the proof. Stating "whatever is made is permanent" is contradictory, that is, the pervasion is reversed. Displaying the statement "whatever is made is produced from effort," it is certain that it becomes uncertain due to delusion. One should understand the sign by the three aspects, because when showing the pervasion, one should understand the pervading dharma, that is, what is to be proven. For the subject of the argument that is close to having the pervading dharma, one should understand the special pervading dharma, that is, approaching the part of the general characteristic of what is to be proven is the subject, one should understand that the pervading dharma is the property of the subject. Moreover, for the pervading subject of the argument that is close to being displayed, one should know that what corresponds to the meaning of the general characteristic of the dharma to be proven is the similar class.
