It is thus declared that the ability to accomplish things is its own nature. This is what is meant in the mind: Like this, appearances are different, and some are close to things in the vicinity, and the nature of being certain as one from cause to effect, the similarity lies in making one not become another. Therefore, there is no general nature different from this. If it were not so, it would fall into the fault of infinity. In this way, it can accomplish the things of the nature of non-different knowledge and speech. Because, if one acknowledges a general nature that is without measure and harmed by measure, what is the use? Like this, in inferences and other knowledge, for the nature of appearing with an unclear aspect, and for seeing things with a clear aspect, one will not have a close understanding of it. When only one appearance is seen, if the nature of blue and so on appears clearly, then how can one examine that it has not been seen, thereby deceiving oneself? If it is said that because it is mixed with the nature of appearance, it appears like fire in an iron ball, that is not correct. Because, if this were the case, it would fall into the fault of not establishing difference and non-difference in all places. The answer to this question is also easy to find elsewhere. The general nature does not have two aspects, clear and unclear. If one of them is acknowledged as the aspect of what is seen, and the other is acknowledged as the object of inference and other knowledge, it will fall into fault. Because the difference of each appearance itself is the reason for establishing all things as different things. If one acknowledges that the general has another general, it will fall into the fault that the general has no other general. This negates what was said below: For all things, if there is no nature of turning back and following, and the nature of arising, these two, then that is also unreasonable. In any case, here one does not want confusion and fabrication. Because at all times it relies on consciousness, so saying confusion is confusion. If because one wants to express in sense consciousness, but it is not established at that time, because for the unclear aspect of blue and so on, one will not have a close understanding of the clear aspect of blue and so on. Appearance also follows the second, and if it exists, it will change.

If what is not pervasive between the two, clarity and non-clarity, how does it follow it? Or if it becomes close to being universally manifest, how can it not understand it? The nature of clarity and non-clarity is impossible, because they are one. It is said thus: If the lineage exists in all, one is clear by clarity, because there is no difference, it is seen in all, and it does not depend on clarity. It is said that even if it becomes close to one clarity, then the nature of the three that pervade everything in the world, or the basis of everything, will be seen to pervade. For anything, even a little, like a moment, it is unreasonable to see and not see. If it is said that seeing is only seen in one basis, and not in everything, that is not right, because the discriminating mind has already acknowledged seeing it. It is unreasonable to say that what is determined as an object is uncertain, therefore, if the nature of having gone to everything is seen, then it will be inferred that everything is seen. If seeing and appearing closely together, or not appearing closely with its own nature without difference, is not reasonable, then how can it be the nature of the two of the sense consciousness? Or is it the nature of the consciousness of recollection and so on? That also does not have its own characteristic appearance, from what does it become between the two? For those who hold the general characteristics of those, there is no characteristic of clarity like clarity, because even if there is no appearance of its own characteristic, it exists, and other aspects appear separately in their own consciousness. Because it is not reasonable to have many aspects in one, it will be too extreme. Therefore, for the object to be taken of different things, this appears separately in the undifferentiated general consciousness, it is not the appearance of its own characteristic, but because it is born from the habit of the beginningless inverted discriminating mind, it will appear like that, and because of dependence, the consciousness will not be destroyed, because it has been acknowledged as momentary. However, the absence of harm itself is also impossible, because the part of the harm has been slightly explained. How is the vast existence and destruction, this state itself, the harm spoken of there and there, must be grasped with certainty. Therefore, how
